Abuse is really NEVER okay. But there is a huge disfunction of capability and badgering that takes place between CPS of Gibson County and the Princeton Police department. In the case of CPS the officers need to have more field experience, more sensitivity traning, trainng on what is ethical & professsional behaviour when dealing with the removal of children from homes ( a highly volatile/ sensitive situation). I feel case managers need a minimum of at least 5-7 years of actual in the field/home experience. Princeton CPS is highly understaffed... calls are never returned in an efficient manner. The list could go on and on. If Gibson county wants to step up it's efforts in offering true outreach for true abuse.... they need to step up their capability in staffing numbers and traing.
