I am wondering what your thoughts are on male victims of domestic violence. Data and research are seeing a rise in numbers of female violence, domestic and non-domestic violence related. Domestic violence occurs due to gender inequalities and unequal power dynamics. If this is the case, are we seeing a rise in female perpetrators because through the excellent work of the feminist movement women are gaining more equal power, status and authority in society? And if so, does this mean future actions should be focused on more gender-neutral policies?

Women who brawl and commit assaults against men have been around since before history. I've known bunches of them, and here in the USA statistics show that women hit men as much as men hit women. Sometimes men hit harder because they are brawnier, but I have seen some mighty powerful injuries done to men by women. As in Jodi Arias, Velma Barfield, and Catherine Kieu.
