I was a friend of Bens back in Gainesville FL 1979-1984. We were roomates for a while and jammed together for a bit. He introed me to Bo Diddely. He had been a partier back in those days and a drummer friend of both of ours told me that his usage had increased to a problem stage. I would guess that had something to do with his death. I always dug Ben and hope they get to the bottom of this. He had his issues but never was a violent person. Peace Ben!! Paulie

He was beaten to death by someone very angry. did he pay his child support because that would make someone very angry.

Paul,I think I remember you, he was my friend too.He used to follow me around the pool singing and playing crazy things until I noticed and laughed. I'd seen him since then whenever he played in the Midwest. My goodness does this hurt. My heart to you and our drummer, too

Sad that nothing is learned of ben's murder.
he was beat up.
he went to a friends house to have pictures taken of his injuries which probably happened when child support was due.
and no one has been charged.
one of her victims took karen to court in 95/96 in rockville maryland, Dwight collins vs. Karen bell andrews. more info on her.

seems her picture no longer is listed as a art teacher in moco.
seems she can't keep a job for too long.
her longest job was stripping.
