I would really like to know also, they will be charged soon enough and then we will all know who! For now all we know is that they live at Hunter's Oak apartments...

Really ???? What kind of people are that broken ? I would really like to know who these people are. There us a special place in hell for those that do harm to innocent infants. They give up their rights to privacy when they laid hands on that child. I say make an example out of them. But we all know on charges that serious in darke county will get probation , fined, and counseling for 6 months. Slap on the wrist for beating on a defenseless child.

Slap them on the wrist? More like burn their bodies and deny them of pain medication.

Misread what you typed. Yes, they will get a mere slap on the wrist probably.

What has our society came to ? Two parents who obviously viciously beat and abused a two week old child, sit at home and not behind bars. Who's going to stick up for the poor child ? Our county's finest ? Watch and see what happens.

If you watched the news the cops said that is what they were told to do. Look at our court system and know their hands are tied.

Just wait and see what happens...the reason why they haven't been charged yet is because the detectives are doing a thorough investigation into what all happened. Why charge them early with felonious assault when in actuality they may be facing an attempted murder charge.
How can you beat a 2 week old child that badly, and say you wasn't trying to kill him/her? They don't want to jump the gun and charge them too early; investigate and charge them to the full extent of the law!

I know the mother and she was asleep when it happened. The dad is has apparently confessed to the injuries. They will charge the mom with child endangerment because she wasn't able to protect the baby. Ya know, we assume that we can trust our spouse/significant other/partner.......but that isn't always the case. He needs to be locked up and the key thrown away. She did dump him as soon as it happened.

I know the father and ive met the mother quite a few times, from what i was told by the family, the police said the mother seemed cold-hearted when being questioned and as for the father confessing he said something and it was taken out of context. i see it more than likely being her due to the fact he worked alot and she was around the baby all the time. i cant see him doing something like that but i can with her. oh, and he left her

Does it really matter who left who ? It's about the child who was savagely beaten. It don't matter what the personal thoughts of the parents are. One if not both of them hurt that child. Either way they both are guilty. It's a two week old infant. Not a piņata. Your supposed to love your child, not kill it. In my opinion, there is no punishment harsh enough for these monsters.

Even though I would love to know who these parents are now, I respect you guys for not throwing names out there before the official public announcement! Many people couldn't hold their tongue and are prone to gossip! Kudos!

One is just as guilty as the other. One did it and the other knew that it was going on and or knew that there was broken bone. You cant hold a baby and not know that there limbs arent broken.

from what i was told the father brought in the baby as soon as he noticed.. he works third so hes gone at night and sleeps during the day. im not defending him cuz i think he should have noticed earlier as well but when your working 8-12 hr shifts and youre new to parenting i could see not noticing right away. i personally dont think he had anything to do with the actual act but the only ones who actually know are the parents themselves.

I never met the father. I'm not going to say anything about him. But I know mom quite well and yes, she was home with the baby. Nobody noticed the broken bones and that is a serious problem. The baby had his 2-week well check on Monday and that is when it was noticed by the doctor. Neither parent took him to the hospital or acknowledged any injuries prior to then. I know regardless of who did it, it was not intentional...these are not that kind of people. They are very young parents dealing with a lot. Mom had a traumatic delivery and there were complications. Dad works a lot. Someone lost their temper and something very bad happened. But just know...they're not evil, they're human and humans can overreact and they make mistakes. Not condoning the event, just saying....we need to not judge since we weren't there.

Ok I wont judge. But in my opinion anyone that " Someone lost their temper and something very bad happened" Should not have babies and not have custody of this child. Shit happens and I understand that but if you try to hide something like this by not takin the child to get medical help is guilty of child abuse.

ABF- I don't care what you say, you can make all the excuses you want, what happened to that baby was EVIL!!! I don't give a crap what kind of delivery Mom had, and I don't care how much Dad works. Young parents? So what!! They decided to have a child, and if they didn't want the child, or were unable to handle being "young parents" then give the baby up for adoption. There is no excuse for what happened, I don't care how you try to explain it away. I am not judging anyone, I am simply stating facts. I have 2 children, and no matte how stressed I ever got when they were little I never ever felt like hurting them, or beating them for that matter. Whatever the parents were going through isn't that innocent babies fault. How do you explain away severe bruising, broken bones, and a spinal injury? That wasn't intentional? What the hell was it?It wasn't an accient I can tell you that. I don't care who the parents are, I hope they are punished to the fullest extent of the law for what they did.

The weird part is there are 2 people that have posted on here that swear it wasnt 1 of the parents. To bad they are voting for different parents. Looks like anyone that would know this couple would know which 1 would be most likely to jump off the deep end.
