sorry, didn't mean to post my previous question
about city finances here. about the bishops, this
problem in the amish community will continue to exist as long as they feel that they don't have to obey the same laws that we do.

I hope they all go to prison. The amish men in Seymour are pigs! They have been doing things like that for years. And lets see if Taylor Diana goes up for "rape" when he was 17 not 18 years old and those girls were all flirting and sneaking around with him while those amish girls get swept under the rug. Oh and lets not forget. Let's all forgive poor ol CD Cantrell for beating his kids and wife and generally acting like an idiot. You included Danette because we all know you will.

Sadly, all of the amish men in Seymour are being grouped together for a few men's crimes. There are more than one amish church in this area, and different churches follow different guidelines. Sure, there are some similarities, but differences as well. I know of some really kind amish families who feel crimes like these are horrible, and should not be swept under the rug. Don't group all people together based on your feelings, and not factual information.

i agree with mistaken.. there are in fact many wonderful people smong the amish. and its not fair to put them all in the same category based on the actions of a few.. now dont take me wrong i think they are subject to the law just like everyone else. i am not siding with those at fault i am only saying you cant assume they are all bad people based on the actions of a few of them... i am pretty sure you would not like it if your neighbor was a rapist or murderer and everyone just assumed you were a rapist too just because you have the same beleifs or lived next door...
