From reading the article,it does appear that the homeowner used excessive force. It seems to me that he crossed the line and committed acts of execution.

If he had shoot each of them one time in the head and killed them. That would have been legal. But because he shoot them several times. He's a monster in the eye's of the prosecuting attorney. Well people just remember this case and when a police officer shoot's a suspect because he or she felt threatened and the cop shoot's the person more then one time. Well Mr. prosecuting attorney what's good for the public is good for the police.

True, cops get to gun down unarmed suspects and they just get a paid vacation for it. they then get declared "justifiable shooting"
