I guess people don't care anymore, or it turned out that it wasn't a hate crime--one of the two. Still nothing current on google for August Provost. It seems something has been swept under the rug. One day, its all over the blogs, the next day, not a word anywhere. I am surprised the activists aren't trying to find out the story. I thought you guys were going to stay on this. Maybe the truth does not fit your agenda, I don't know.

Do you have a link? My side?? I wasn't on a "side." I was only asking for info. Some of you guys see a conflict where none exists. I did get a list of 1000s of sites, but I just go through the first page. None of them had any information from police or navy. The were mostly blogs and opinion that had not been updated in over a week. Three weeks ago, it was all over the place, then everyone stopped caring.

I can't remember where I read it but I think it may have been in the "Stars and stripes" which is the overseas military news paper. I only skimmed it as I was actually looking for articles to support my claim that DADT has to go for my class. Wish I could be of more help. P.S - as I have not been keeping up with this forum I only picked the word "side" because it just seemed so divided though as I've skimmed back through I get the sense that you aren't aren't spiteful at all... just curious. Peace.

Of course the Navy could never admit that there was a hate crime..EVER... if you want to keep up..you can visit towleroad.com No armed service branch will EVER admit that a hate crime occurred on base...ever. That would make them look incompetant. Not being able to protect it's own..while we are fighting 2 wars..lol if we can't protect ourselves how the hell can we win a war elsewhere? Just like the government, anything that looks bad..gets hidden and swept away under a carpet. and sheeple believe them...because our government would NEVER lie to us... oh unless you count the republicans, the C.I.A...the armed services, the house, the senate, or the congress.....LOL

When I was in ComFleetActs in Sasebo there were murders, rapes and drugs all the time. The carriers would all port at the same time it seemed and they would fight with each other and even murder others from different carriers. Off base it was the same, raping the native women and killings. Every time the ships came in all of a sudden there would be fliers posted all over the base about drugs. "Beware" it said. lol. The sad thing was.. they kept very "hush hush" about it all. The "Stars and Stripes" Newspaper never leaked a word about any of the crimes. That is why every time when you would leave the base there were always protesters lined up outside telling the Americans to go home.
