<quoted text> Seriously people these are the people buying assault rifles. You help to prove my point by acting like a fool. You have no reason to be allowed to own these weapons. You rednecks have this god complex. You think that if something bad happens you can stop it with your guns. More people die in accidental shootings, many children, than are killed in self defense scenarios. You need to get a grip on reality. I can't wait till you have to hand over your weapons. What a day, glorious day, that will be. Hold on to it while you can. Obama's going to own it in 3 years.

There is a reason to own assault rifles and it's because no one should be able to tell me I can't. There were not mass killing by damaged young people until recently. Society needs to look at its self before it appoints a scapegoat.

<quoted text>Why do you need that gun? You don't. Maybe you won't kill people, but some crazy people do. I would rather neither of you have the weapon. I think that maybe most of the country would agree. Your opinion means nothing.
I have been able to tell if I was talking to a person with common sense for most of my life, but you haven proven me wrong. When you end your little talk with "your opinion means nothing" it proves that you are very hard headed & uneducated. A normal person would be able to listen to and understand what another is talking about, you are unable to do that. Its sad to say but if I find out that most Dem's are as stubborn as you then I may become a Rep.

I have a question mannington2010, do you belive that all of our firearms should be taken away? If not then what types should we be allowed to own?

We also didn't have the number of assault weapons easily available. You have to remember that from 1994-2004 we had an assault weapons ban. Why do you need these weapons. It is disgusting that you think you do.

If you actually read what I posted you would see that I was specifically talking about assault weapons, high capacity magazines, and some of these new "people killer" ammunitions. You don't need them. When it is said that your opinion doesn't matter it is because it doesn't. Just because you want these weapons doesn't entitle you to own them. Just the same as people that want to do heroine. Our society has said we don't want that. Heroine addicts opinions on the subject have no influence on the drug policy. Why should you? As I have said before there will probably be more shootings and if that happens your precious assault weapons might not be legal anymore. Get with the times, man. Start living in reality and decide that you don't want more americans to be killed.

I did read everything that you posted, I just wanted to know what type of firearms that you think we as USA citizens should be allowed to own. What do you consider a high cap magazine, or do you think semi autos should all be banned? Maybe you have heard or read something that I have not but any ammo can be "people killer ammo" More people have been killed with small pistols that can be hidden than with assault weapons. As far as wanting to see more americans die, I have been within 6ft of those who did die and I had to kill others so it would not happen again. No it was not in the USA, it was overseas so the answer to your damn stupid quote about me wanting to see others die is just that, stupid!! Now, instead of sidestepping the issue again, answer the questions that I have asked you.

Do you really believe that when the constitution was written they could have ever imagined what kind of weapons we have now? Would these pragmatic thinkers have really wanted us to have the ability to shoot as quickly as we can pull the trigger? I respect your service. I think that since you have the proper training you should be able to have these weapons. I don't want inbred toothless mouth-breathing hillbillies to have them. I don't want to see another mass shooting. I know you will argue all the other ways you can kill, but why? Why should you have had to fight for our freedom so that some nut job can murder us with military weapons? It makes no sense. America is supposed to be a beacon to the rest of the world. Why do we kill each other so frequently?

If we don't start killing these crazy, fame obsessed murderers, then we can expect more. Take away the insanity plea, take away life without parole, and see what a few hangings will do. Murderers used to DIE. Ask one of these self obsessed, feeling so sorry for themself kids what will "show em all" how a noose feels, and watch the rest think twice. The last few are still alive!!! Shot a bunch of people and a congresswoman? Stay in jail. You are too troubled to be put to death.

You know that a lot of these delusional white men aren't concerned with consequences. That is crazy. They would probably prefer to be killed in the act. What makes you an authority on the subject?

Then allow them their preferences and kill them. Preferably in public. So they can all see the consequences.

SICK OF GUNS wrote:
<quoted text> Well, most sane people want these assault weapons off the street. Your opinion doesn't matter. Hopefully, we can get a ban on them. Remember, you silly rednecks, that we used to have an assault weapons ban. It wasn't the end of the world. It won't be this time either. I just hope that you all willingly hand over your weapons. I believe that if someone loves assault weapons, then they probably don't care for human life. It makes the situation even scarier for law enforcement.
I don't want dimwitted psychos running around my country with these dangerous weapons. Out of the richest countries in the world the United States has the highest murder rate with guns. You single minded gun loving xenophobes are just looking for an excuse to pop someone. If these guns are not restricted, then I am afraid one of you crazy toothless illiterate republican NRA-worshiping bigots is going to loose your shit all over the people of Fairmont, or Morgantown, or Grafton, or Mannington. I know at least 5 people with these dangerous weapons. I am sure you know more. The proliferation of militarized weapons into the hands of untrained wannabe militia men is the biggest threat facing the country. How many people die in America because of gun violence? In 2009 it was 11,493. That is out of 16,799 murders. How many Americans die from terrorist attacks? In 2011, it was 17. That is across the globe. Why do we spend billions of dollars "protecting" ourselves from a nonexistent threat, while at the same time ignoring if not supporting the right to own weapons used for combat. You are living in a dream, and you will wake up one day to find an army of rational people asking for you guns. What will you do to those people if that happens? Will you respect the wishes of a majority?
Now we have dead kids. This is a sad country full of sad people. Gum owners are cowards.
