There is definitely a wight issue with some of the officers. Of course if they have to get out their vehicle and run to catch a crook, they'd just shoot him/her because they are not fit enough to take on some actions necessary to do their job. This don't include all the officiers but at least half of the force are overweight.
Our military has to stay fit or they are relieved of their duties and sent home. No questions asked!!
Mayor Stiers needs these with the issue to guard his meetings in case someone may get a little hasty with him. Yep, the town has the most qualified tough guys in the state as cops. The dog could do a better job than his master any day!!
It's time the weight issue along with a few more is settled once and for all and
at the next meeting. I think that may be Dec. 3rd. if I'm not mistaken. You should check before making a trip to city hall for nothing. He's been known to call meetings and then cancel without notice.
Merry Christmas and best Wishes to the Jellico Police Department along with the rest of the city workers that have taken an oath not to defy their boss. From what I can tell don't know who the boss is when a certain employee is asked to do something which is the job criteria and it's refused. I believe that's call insubordination and you should automatically be fired that that! It happened at a regular council meeting. How's that for holding a club over someones head.
All I know is that somebody at city hall has balls of steel and their almost dragging the ground by now. WOW!!!
