What less competition is better for the consumers right?

Where is the FTC for this one?

And here I have been hoping for some good competition for Publix. They are way to big for their britches.
Everything sell is made of Gold, must be, I am sure of it.
I went to WD yesterday and with the "card" bought brocilli for .99 Cents, can't Publix do this too???? At Publx it is over $3.00...

Because their in business to make money. If you don't like it go by your food somewhere else. All you freeloaders need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps.

I sure hope they close the Albertsons on Glades and 441. That place smells like rotting garbage and it looks like it was last cleaned in 1972.

Didn't you hear the exciting news? Publix milk is now $3.79 a gallon. Watch your head as you walk in the store cause you might get hit with one of their big signs with the exciting proclamation.

Speaking of dummies, this isn't a "blog".
It's a foum which people seem to be ignorant about as well. I have said it a million times,,,,"START NEW DISCUSSION" and rant about whatever you want.

As for monopolized Publix, well, every state has theirs,,,New York has Stop & Shop plus Wegmans. Michigan has Meijers, the westcoast has Safeway. They all have them, if you don't like it then he\\, go to the farmer markets, small markets or the swap shop and quit whining already.

That's just over $10 mil a pop. Are they buying the land and buildings too ... or is that just for the name on the front? Seems kind of pricey for stores that smell like pee.

Right. with 55% of the market compared to Albertsons 2% and Wal*Mart building more and more Super stores, this was a very bad move

FTC would never get involved in this. Publix is not a public company. Publix is privately owned!!!

Why is that no other food chain can come into Florida and run a good supermarket. It is down to a Publix monopoly and Wal Mart.
