Lame, I grew up in Highland Park, and my father worked as a school principal in Chicago. Lumping everyone in Highland Park would be like me saying Lame, you're from Chicago...everyone there is a gang-banger!

I agree with the comment about Highland Park. Applies to the rest of the north shore as well. Mostly a-holes with fake wealth. This demographic is the exact reason we're in a recession.

This is terrible news. Greg Bell and I go way back and we were just in the middle of discussing how he could step in as an investor in Chicago sports Webio. At least with Hernandez we got 3 good months.

I grew up in HP also. It has changed
very much. But has always had it's share of jerks like any other town.
Who wants to pay Lake Co. taxes anyway? The government really has the best schemes going if you ask me.

Really? How little you know. If that were the case, the North Shore would be one of the hardest hit areas from the financial collapses. Is it?

Hey don't forget about the people in DuPage County more than 3/4's of them have fake wealth too! Get a life people and work two jobs to pay off your over spent credit cards and mortgage's of your McMansions.
I do not dam people that work hard just to provide for there families. But when people run up credit cards and live in homes that cost more than they can afford, then contact us to help them out that's where I DRAW THE LINE!

Here we go again - dumping on "the so-called rich." It should not be envy that fuels your anger against people who live in certain communities, inasmuch as there are scarier people living in other neighborhoods. Greed is greed - doesn't matter where you live or who you are. I do agree that those who pretend to a life-style they cannot afford should not expect the rest of us to bail them out. I often wonder about people who invest with these scam artists. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence would know that a larger than the market-based rate of return on an investment is a scam. They got what they deserved.

Wow, lots of hate going here.

If the guy is guilty, he should pay. But to condemn the entire area...

You guys need to get over your envy. It is eating your souls.

I think Greg Bell had better start to worry about picking up the soap in the prison shower. He's going to the slammer.

Wow can the trusts be cracked I do not think so.

This guy new what was in store for him as he stole billions from people.
How about life in prison for him and a fatal accident for each of the people listed in the trust.
When you steal from a lot of people someone is going to make sure that your family isn't going to be enjoying their cash!
