So we have a man running for Sheriff that is supposed to be honest and has integrity, but he is on FMLA because apparently his wife hurt her shoulder, which I think he should be home helping to take care of her but instead he is at the polls.. And they both were there yesterday! Just like he was chasing the pig at Fair Hill the last time.. He was on medical leave then! Is this who you want as our next Sheriff??

back again, out on Fmla does not mean you are ill or that you are providing 24 hour care to someone. let's see how our current sheriff left msp on disability yet is a working sheriff now, that says more than someone out on Fmla.
his personnel issues w the county are that, if he was doing anything to violate them, I'm sure they would address them.

old timer, my point was you've been bashing sutton for over a year. We get it, you're not a fan. but don't present as if this is a new opinion of yours. I'd be happy to share my identity, you?

Excuse me but FMLA stands for Family Medical Leave.. I have been on it before and I know what it means.. And it sure doesn't mean working the polls and chase pigs!!!

Do you think Sutton is that stupid come on. FMLA does not preclude you from living.
Working polls is not "working ". So let it go move on !!!!!!!!!!

Yes, yes I do. I think Chris and his followers interpret rules, policies, and guidelines in a way that makes them always right. Chasing pigs while on sick leave? "Borrowing" money and not paying it back? FMLA for a family member that doesn't appear to be sick? FMLA is a federal law that protects an employee from losing his/her job because of family illness (or adoption... in this case we are focussing on the illness of his wife). MOST partners would take this leave to help with treatment/recovery of an illness. Unless, of course, you are running for Sheriff and you need your injured wife to wave a sign or hang out at the polls. The small print of the law states that the employee will not loose his/her employment during the specified time but that does not mean the employer has to hold that specific position. As long as he has a job in the county, it doesn't matter which department. Should the county be one less officer on the street because Chris is "taking care" of his "sick" wife? No!
It's tough to watch the county accommodate Chris and his antics during the past 3 campaigns. It's about time that someone gets to the bottom of his game.

Q-Tip.. You are so right on this one!! Can you please explain to the Sutton supporters on here what FMLA means? Apparently they have no clue!!

Again the attacks you present are clearly with a personal agenda. I am fully aware of fmla, do not need individuals that I believe twist anything to make sutton look bad. The chasing the pig, working the pills Etc are the same as the bs allegations being thrown around. They are present as facts when they simply allegations. Your opinion allows you to make the decision for you. Clearly you dislike sutton, what's disturbing is instead of just saying you don't like sutton for xyz reasons, you choose to throw unfounded bs out there to influence others. And your presentation suggests if anyone doesn't agree w you, you attack them. I hope our county has much better people than you. Regardless who they vote for, I hope they see how much bs gets thrown around. I do not find any of you as credible sources of information. If anything you again reinforce the fear I have for this county. And still no one has brought forth any concrete facts to support their allegations. My the voters be fair, smart and competent w their votes

...and be more understandable than you!
You can't twist any of this to make Chris look any worse. Unless, of course, you defend him on topix in a rambling post.

I do have a personal gain. I live in Cecil County, raise children in Cecil County, own properties in Cecil County, and I plan to stay in Cecil County. I care about the safety of my children, myself, and my properties. I surely don't want sloppy leadership. Who wants a sheriff that gets over on the system? Ignores financial responsibility? Disrespects the law by manipulating it for his own personal gain? Not me! The facts are repeated throughout the posts and your unwillingness to accept the facts is blatant ignorance.

I went up too his wife and she informed me she had surgery on her shoulder. FMLA does not mean you have to care for some one on their death bed. So she can't use her shoulder, but so that means she still can walk, talk and stand at pools . For FMLA you need documentation from a physician and it is reviewed by county. Do you think a physician would jeopardize his 150,000 ++++ a year job. I think not. As I read this subject title is bash Sutton.

I'm sure you did walk up to his wife and asked because you were researching the facts. Not. Your "insider" fact finding statements are humorous.

Q tip you don't think sutton supporters care for their children too? I was born and raised here, left for my higher education and came back to bring my education and skills to Cecil county. I too am raising a family here, work here and live here. I've also been in the trenches of Cecil county working with all the social problems.
I hope everyone can run clean arguments and whoever becomes sheriff helps to make it a better place, but I realize we all have to invest together
