Amazing how easy it is to judge people. Especially when you don't know all of the facts. Where do you think Jeff was getting the drugs from? Oh maybe the other people going to prison also? Now this is somehow all Jeff Pierce's fault.Do you know what each person was charged with - apparently not! Only the men either in prison, going to prison or oh 1 on probation know the truth. Hugo is not but a gossip town. What did Jack get - who was a pharmacist - no prison time. Has Jack been in trouble before - I think so many years ago. What did this bill bill get charged with? Alot more than Jeff and oh by the way his last name is Pierce not Peirce.
I love these people who live in glass houses.
All of the people who got caught selling or buying knew what they were doing. So to put the blame on Jeff is completely wrong. He was wrong with what he did and he is paying the price for that. Do you honestly think those people who were buying aren't buying from someone else now? There was someone before Jeff Pierce and there are plenty there right now selling to those same people and more.
How many sheriff's have gone to prison from Hugo? I know of at least 2 in my lifetime. For what you ask? Hmm - DRUGS, extortion etc. Who thinks the law enforcement in Hugo is clean now?
You think the drugs are out of that town? There have been ranchers, pawn shop owners who have gone to prison for drugs in Hugo. This is Hugo - sad to say. It is amazing what the "Upstanding Citizens" of Hugo do behind closed doors. They are your best friend until they get caught doing something they shouldn't be doing. Then everyone wants to cast stones.
I don't agree with drugs - selling or using. But it seems so easy for some to put all the blame on one person. He is doing his time - move on to someone else. Maybe look in the mirror at yourself.
Sounds like you are his ex wife from Austin...whats your name...Grace?

Hey unless you know Marty Young then you need to keep your mouth shut!!! He didn't make any deals and he didn't snitch. He has made some mistakes he knows it and he is paying the price. And yes he has a soul, he clothed half the kids in Wright City when he was out and bought school supplys. Talk about what you know and not Marty because you don't know him!

It sure was, n this is her son Jeff. No matter what my dad has done he's always had a good heart. He might not of been the best father figure, but I think this has really opened his eyes and realized he messed up. Money is the rule of all evil, and everybody knows that was his weakness. But I know for a fact that he had quit everything right before his mom passed away, and was trying to be the father that he never was. Everybody thats threatening him are probly the ones that got caught. I dont see how u can call him a snitch when the phone conversations are there. U can go to the court house and get a copy for a small fee if u dont believe me. If you wouldn't of been messing with the shit, then you wouldn't have gotten arrested! He was wrong for what he was doing, and now he's paying the price. Nobody can point fingers at nobody. They're all guilty. It's funny with all the drugs still going around in this town, and people are still talking about stuff that happened almost 2yrs ago. I think we should be worried about whats going on in the streets today. This site is ridiculous. All it is, is a place to get shit started. Nobody ever puts their name, but they talk like they're bulletproof. I've made my mistakes and have payed the price as well. Some people wake up faster than others, and I was one of them.

those folks got off light, just think of the lives they help destroy. Woner if they caused any deaths by overdose? And endangering the public with their dope.
I guess you're a big gubment republican who wants to legislate morality by continuing the tax payer funded War on Drugs.

Why are we a nation populated with big government statists on both sides of the political isle? Whose business is it to legislate and preach to citizens regarding what he or she can do to his or her body?

I can't wait for the Libertarian wing of the GOP to finally overtake the morality statists of the Republican Party.

Truth, according to what info I get the dealers did get off light----most of them are already out. Sure got l;ong sentences and short time serving those sentences. Nope ,TRUTH, I surely aint no republican nor a tea bagger. I just like to see the sentence served, not a cake walk espeacially when one has already been pardoned before on the same charge. And if it was up to me a drug dealer would serve a long sentence in prison behind the rock walls in Mc Calister. And some of thsoe caught dealing came from wel known families with money--did they not?
