What happened ? I thought things were turning around for this area. Can't we open more Dollar Tree stores or provide some other kind of service counter jobs where education is not a requirement ?
If only someone would provide more of these golden opportunities the employment problems of Erie and Crawford County would be resolved !

But what did the ETN say about it?

"...continued a winning streak of sorts that's now in its 56th month."

Attention Jim Martin, an increase in unemployment to 7.7% IS NOT A WINNING STREAK!

A parsing of the data might recommended to ease the confusion. When the labor force has grown substantially, as it has in Erie County (by 3,000) in one year, one must re-align the base point to calculate the unemployment rate. The actual number of unemployed is down to 11,000 from the recession high and the number of people employed is up by 7,600 from the depths of the recession. Calculate all that with the growth in the labor market, which is good news and economists like to see, the rate increased. One does not want the labor market to be shrinking while unemployment is rising. So the fact that more people have entered the labor market is a positive sign.

Everytime you look in the mirror you see a low information voter and an idiot. Sorry punk, but try taking the guns, coward. Your religion is your government. See where government gets you, idiot.
