We are now going to have the campaign over Obamacare that we would have had during the 2012 election if anyone but Mitt Romney had been the Republican nominee.

Have faith, because of Obama's train wreck and implementation mess, he will soon declare the only way to make it work is single payer.

Dearie, you might want to dig up some decent republicant candidates, try to move forward, forget backward thinking, open the old white tent to others, change from the stupid party, stop the republicant war on womens health issues, find solutions, stop being the Party of No and then your party may have a chance.
But I would bet that you folks will be screaming and whining after losing the next election! As you have done in the last two elections. LOLL

And who rejected the single payer program?

"The mandate made its political début in a 1989 Heritage Foundation brief titled “Assuring Affordable Health Care for All Americans,” as a counterpoint to the single-payer system and the employer mandate, which were favored in Democratic circles. In the brief, Stuart Butler, the foundation’s health-care expert, argued,“Many states now require passengers in automobiles to wear seat-belts for their own protection. Many others require anybody driving a car to have liability insurance. But neither the federal government nor any state requires all households to protect themselves from the potentially catastrophic costs of a serious accident or illness. Under the Heritage plan, there would be such a requirement.”

Yep, you republicans were staunchly against any single payer system - that democrats were for before the Heritage Foundation supported the health care mandate - something that after 20 years, you jack asses are now against.

We aren't part of Obamacare. We have military care, and my parents have Union insurance, so they are exempt. But the people who are in line for Obamacare are in for a big jolt financially Jan. 1st next year. As fare as losing the last election goes, that was the last election of the illegal alien vote. Now they will have to have papers, and their multi voting will be mostly discouraged lest they loose their papers.
Prove that any significant number of illegal aliens voted anywhere.

I would hpe and pray that he does so, since that'd be a real solution instead of a poor one.

Very expensive for everyone. How can you deliver billions of dollars into the pockets of a few rich guys without expecting everyone to have to pay for it? Where do you think that money comes from?

The main requirement is that everyone has to give a few rich guys tons of money. This program was created by the far right Heritage foundation for the purpose of killing the middle class. Why would you think it would do anything else?

I certainly don't think it's a good idea, for the reasons you suggest. I'm just saying that a lot of right wingers here don't even know what it is.

Neither does the left - Pelosi said we will have to wait and see what it does when its implemented. Obama NOR anyone in Congress read it and before Obama SIGNED IT.

Well he just had to cancel implementation of another of his parts, the part where smokers have to pay a 50% premium. Nothing like equal benefits under the law.
