At least most of the employees at Albertson's speak english. Unfortunately most of the Publix employees speak little or no english. I don't speak Creole or Spanish. The official language of the country is english and if you come to a country, you should have the common decency to learn the language. I will shop anywhere but Publix.

I shopped at the Penn Dutch on 441 & Sample Rd today and it was packed! You could barely get your cart through.-- Publix stores near me (NE FT Lauderdale )look very empty lately. Just wait till the Walmart Neighborhood Market opens on US1 in Pompano Beach soon. Food items at Walmart are $1 -$3 less then the same items in Publix. You should have seen how much bakery bread and baked goods were being throw out last night!!Try lowering the prices Publix.

they want to keep the stock down thats what they give to their employees, when they go down the tubes guess what the employees are going to get. i know over 50% of the publix employees are unhappy, moral is down at one store they locked the doors and wouldnt let their employees leave. the management never smile to the employees maybe the public but watch them with their employees. they make them work all different hrs, days etc and tell them if they dont they just will hire more part timers and give you less hrs. its almost a sweat shop, just observe the management and see if they are happy faces when talking with their own employees.
