And so have deaths by guns.
Nope, the violent crime rate and homicide rate have been dropping in America for the last 40 years according to the FBI and several other studies. Do you ever get anything right?

More guns in the hands of citizens = less crime and death of innocents.

Do you know that only 40% of gun show transactions include a background check and that many of those purchases get into the hands of criminals.
Gee you can't even get the false propaganda correct can you? The "claim", which has since been proven to be false and laughably so, is that 40% of sales are private, not what you said, but that is not correct either. That 40% figure was from a skewed poll decades old and is misrepsentative of anything factual.

You seem totally clueless on this issue, so you should just quit obsessing and get a life that doesn't exist on trying to take away other's freedoms.

Gun control failed. Obama threw a temper tantrum, Bloomberg raged, Biden cried, and Gallup said only 4% of Americans see gun control as an important issue. 4%. It is that damn 2nd Amendment. That damned Constitution, and Bill of Rights. Tonight we drink to the founders that foresaw the evil politicians that decades later would try to bring this country down, and now they cannot. Thank God for good people. America will prevail.

In the State of Massachusetts where gun laws are some of the strictest on the books, it didn't stop the scum sucking muslims from having guns and killing people, so much for strict gun laws, they just harass law abiding citizens and do nothing to keep weapons out of the hands of those who wish to do us harm.

Lets take a look at the murder statistics in the U.S. for the year 2011.

323 people killed by an assault rifle

496 people killed by a hammer

650 people killed by a knife

over 12,000 people killed by a drunk driver

Nothing against the 323 people that were killed by an assault rifle, but wouldn't our time and money be better spent by doing something about the drunk drivers?

Makes a lot of sense. Find something like heart attacks or cancer or automobile accidents that kill more people than assault weapons and use that information to claim that we should do nothing about anything else. By the way--how many people were killed with all other kinds of guns. Did you conveniently overlook that statistic?

"3,530 or more since Newtown'

I guess these victims were not too successful in defending themselves with a gun, but if the people who shot them with a gun didn't have a gun, they would not have been shot.

If the people who shoot them have the intent to kill they will do so, gun or not.

"If the people who shoot them have the intent to kill they will do so, gun or not."

Guns just make it a lot easier, don't they? What a waste of money it is for law abiding citizens to have guns. It seems they never have them ready to defend themselves when a criminal puts their gun to their head. Too bad we can't make it harder for criminals to get guns.

It's far from a waste of time for Law abiding citizens to own a "GUN", the MSM never publicizes the amount of life that is saved by law abiding gun owners,if you follow this at all you have to know there are places you can read story after story of gun owners saving there lives and family members lives because of a gun in there home. You can make it harder for criminals to get guns...enforce the laws on the books, harsher sentences for gun crimes.

And now here we go again, this idiot in N.J.wants to pass legislation for "Gun Powder" buyers. Senator Frank Lautenberg has promised to introduce legislation for gun powder buyers because he is blaming the terrorists attacks on gun powder.Put the blame where it belongs, muslim fanatics that are allowed in to this Country. All muslim immigration should be stopped, along with all chinese immigration, especially students that come here and get educated and than return to china and end up hacking our systems.
