Staffing losses curb DA pot prosecutions

A staff shortage in the Mendocino County District Attorney's Office has led DA Meredith Lintott to advise her attorneys to limit the marijuana cases they file.

So if the Sheriff cuts it down and the D.A does not prosecute Mendocino County will be drove to the brink with lawsuits.
This I am sure will have watcher and Savage rambling on for days.

Factors to consider, according to the memo, separate from the plant count, are whether weapons were involved, whether any children were on scene, whether the marijuana was clearly intended for sale, whether the arrestee has a criminal history and whether there were workers on scene and if they had workers compensation insurance.

If these illegal growers are non taxpayers, how can they offer workers compensation?

If a law enforcement officer arrest someone and destroys personal property knowing that the DA will not prosecute, what are the legal ramifications?
I am sure we will see very soon in front of a civil jury.

Hay Lintott, with all the pot in Mendocino County, If you were to seize and auction drug dealer property you could not only buy all of Mendocino County but also every drug rehab in the USA.

Just think of where this county could be if it didn't have stupid illegal drug dealers for it's DA and it's Sheriff.

Hell last month the jury came back not guilty on a couple hundred pound bust.
