How was the liquor tax revenue spent too help schools in Sevierville and Gatlinburg. What do they have that the other schools do without ? The group in Pigeon Forge is willing to prostitute the schools for their cause bringing another blight to the City of Pigeon Forge.

How do you expect the city to pay for all of the debt without this liquor tax revenue?

Prohibition ended in the 1920s. Pigeon Forge already has wine/beer. It's sad that it has taken this long for Pigeon Forge to get this passed. If it does pass, it will bring in new jobs, companies, and revenue.

People can go to Sevierville or Gatlinburg if they need a drink of Liquor. Pigeon Forge has always catered to the family atmosphere and was built on this family principal. Pigeon Forge has found out it can't regulate the atmosphere of Liquor sales as it does with beer and wine. The sale of alcohol with a meal paints a mild picture. The drunkards stumbling out of the State regulated liquor establishments will paint another. With Pigeon Forge approaching 150 million in debit are you potentially willing to drive away the family atmosphere of Pigeon Forge. And if this works maybe we can decriminalize drugs and prostitution in Pigeon Forge, with tax revenues for the schools. We could be on to something!!!!!

This is the ultimate in absurdity, more of the gnat camel analogy, in action. What's wrong with having a drink, moderation is the key, if you're DRIVING! No one should be able to dictate to the businesses what they can and can't sell. I just don't get it. The only thing I am getting is a group of people, attempting to dictate THEIR beliefs on everyone else. Pigeon Forge and the family atmosphere is not going to be taking any sort of hit, from selling a Singapore Sling, anymore than a glass of iced tea. No one is forcing the people opposed to have that drink. I hope it goes forward, Tn doesn't have that much money, and you people are ridiculous in your attempt to make everyone, accept your beliefs!
