That means
high-price of Dow and S&P and high-stock-prices are useless for true American's recovery.

The U.S. needs trade-surplus and current-account-surplus.
The U.S. needs Labor-Unions and American-Heavy-Industry in the U.S.
The U.S. must decrease its military-budget.

The U.S. must be rich, and we common-average Americans must get share!!

I love the U.S.! I love Americans!

if you want the kind of money other's make, go out and earn it for yourself, don't steal it from those that did earn it.
Go out and earn it. Absolutely. The only problem is the lack of opportunity. Why has all the opportunity been removed? Simple, the rich corporations will do everything they can to prevent competition. They write the laws (lobbyists) to make sure no one can ever compete in their marketplace.

So the question becomes why don't the rich have to earn their money? The government just hands them billions and they never work a day in their lives. The poor and middle class work long hard hours even with advanced education. Why shouldn't the rich have to work as well? Why shouldn't those who do work see any reward for their labor?

there is no real lack of opportunity, and you know it, it is just your excuse for not even trying.

LOL, no lack of opportunity??? Communist China has more capitalism than anywhere in the USA. I suppose hundreds of millions of Americans complaining about lack of opportunity means that by some magic there is plenty of opportunity.

In reality, you are just being disingenuous. You know better than this.

If you want an example of the government just handing people billions look at Cheney. He and his companies got many billions in war profits, much of it simply because the money "disappeared." Look at Lockheed and how much money they get for nothing. Look at the subsidies for the oil companies. Look at the donations to almost all large corporations in the US. Not only does the government give billions, those billions are tax free, just ask GE.

If you are even curious as how they do it, remember, they hire lobbyists to write all our laws, and those laws prevent any competition, and directs billions to those corporate coffers.

Now stop pretending you are so clueless as to what is going on around you.

you've been fed a lot of lies and half truths, Don. again, the real world right outside your door belies most of the statements you parroted.

i do understand how this is easier than actually making something of yourself of taking responsibility for not making something of yourself...so go ahead and stick with your plan while millions all around you are doing what you say is impossible and making their way in this world.

It is a difference of opinion. In your world, someone working three part time jobs, at min wage is really making it big time. Of course it would be irresponsible for that person to actually have a family. And of course that person would not have access to health care so he better never get sick or be involved in any accident.

In my world, a person needs the opportunity to get an education, find a challenging worth while job and get paid a salary high enough to responsibly have a family, health care and retirement. There must be opportunities to create your own businesses, buy and sell products or services. The main opportunity I look for is the option to receive a portion of the fruit of your own labor. If you work harder and create more, you should get more. If you work smarter, you should receive some of the benefit.

The only response you can give are anecdotal. In the same way you can provide anecdotes that some people win the lottery, but that doesn't mean everyone has the opportunity to win the lottery.

Come on, you know better than this.

Where did you get the idea i would think any minimum wage job could be considered a successful career?

i gave no anecdotal evidence at all, just stated what everybody knows, and that is that millions do exactly what you called a success every year.

so we know it is possible, and even commonplace, yet you say only the wealthy can do it? why do you make such statements that clearly fly in the face of reality? if i may suggest, i would say take a look at your prejudice and hatred of wealthy people...those things always cloud one's judgment...

Boehner, and the Republicans are working on what to do to pick up the pieces after the Democrats cause us to crash, and burn. Obama wanted this disaster to take away the interest in his disastrous healthcare debacle. Now he doesn't know how to fix it. Lucky for him the Republicans will save the day. He is so incompetent. First Vlad had to save his foreign policy disaster, now the Republicans will have to save him from bankrupcy

I mean stop spending money like drunken politicians, and pay down the debt, not raise the level again so Obama can waste another 10 trillion dollars. I am tired of paying for the Muslim Brotherhood to provide for Obama's brother, and his gang.
