Obama would have done nothing if not for the bipartisan support of the Congress. There's a lot of complaining, but everyone in office should get credit and blame. Obama is okay. I just happen to prefer a Mormon president. It's about faith and SOCIAL ISSUES for me. Maybe you don't understand Joseph Smith. He corrected the old Bible. It was broken and needed fixing, just like our secular country. We need a theocracy.

What the GOPTEA Birthers fail to comprehend is that while they keep asking and whining to the government asking, "where are the jobs Obama?", working class Americans are wondering what they did with those tax savings we gave them to create the very jobs they keep asking Obama about!

We will give you our answer in November at the voting booth Rich Money. No more tax cuts for you.

That was quick.
From hero to zero in a week.
He was never a hero to start with. So he finally said what eveyone knew all along. It means NOTHING to the gay community. He is just hoping that the gay community would "buy it" as something that would matter. It's a personal opinion, it's not legislation, it means NOTHING. He still isn't DOING anything for the gay community. Just another broken promise, kind of like endng the war in Afganistan instead of exhilarating it. No hero at all!!

The gays are going to expect him to put his money where his mouth is and demand he legalize all gay marriages with a Constitutional ammendment.

Can you say historic landslide for GOP???

They really should be patient. President Obama had more important things like the economy to tackle in his first term and focusing the country's attention back to hunting down bin laden. He has successfully managed to stop the recession and turn it around into a recover. And with his focus on bin laden, we were finally able to bring justice to those whose lives were lost on 9/11. Even during this time, President Obama had Don't Ask Don't Tell ended. If gay activist stepped back a little they would realize this President has done more for gay rights than any President above him. President Obama's second term will be a great one.
The key word is "activist". The overwhelming majority of gays & lesbians know & appreciate everything the President has done to support equality in his first four years. Gay activists are no different than hetero activists; they're never satisfied, nothing every happens fast enough, and they're constantly pushing for whatever their particular agenda may be over any other consideration.

For most of us it's more important to ensure the President is reelected; everything else can wait for 5 months, 2 weeks, & 3 days.

Actually gays & lesbians are smart enough to know the President has nothing to do with passing consitutional amendments; that would be up to the Congress & the States.

Romney has no path to victory; even Karl Rove's electoral map based on current polling has Obama with enough solid "blue" states to get 290 electoral votes. Obama could lose every single "swing state" and STILL win the election.

if the gays think he has the power then they need basic civics education
.
new ammendments require 2/3 votes of congress and 3/4 of the 50 states ratifying. Aint gonna happen, 30 states already have voted down gay marriage.

he said it so the 1%ers in hollywood would open their wallets...period.
they did...and obama got all the money he wanted. now, he's going to ignore it...citing "more important issues"...
like placating the black community who are overwhelmingly AGAINST same sex marriage.

obama is not worried that those folks would ever vote for romney...he's worried they just won't vote..
and...THAT is a worry for obama!
(and a happy for me!)
