Armed Revenue collectors who receive money stolen from citizens based on the idea that they protect us from thieves. What a joke. They are criminals.
Well

It takes a warrior to receive money stolen from people under the pretense that he is protecting them from thieves?

FYI, cops don't prevent crime. They fill out reports and look for the offender after the crime happens. Most of the time they aren't even arresting people who have hurt anyone else.... They are just throwing peaceful people in jail for morality failings at our expense!

Communities can have watches, volunteer officers, and encourage people to protect their own belongings by being armed.

We don't need bullies with badges rooming around harassing people while receiving a check that was taken from people against their will.

They strut around like they are a god of some sort, and they love their flashy lights and uniforms..They are self serving spoiled brats that could care less about you or your problems.

County officials set court costs, not Police Officers. Senators set costs of fines, not Police Officers.

At least you agree that there is crime. The majority of Police agencies in this county are overworked & underpaid as it is.

Key phrase, "Most of the time". The rest of the time it's catching the drunk before they crash into the family & kill them.

"Morality failings" you're right about that, but what kind of punishment do you suggest? Parenting Classes, Vasectomies to keep thugs from reproducing?

Who is "our" and what "expense"? Tax money? Money out of your pocket to bail your family member out?

Ummm... Have you not heard of this Community Watch guy named Zimmerman that resides in FL? Guess what... No TRAINING!

Oh, and volunteer officers??? I'd like to see how that works out when the real sworn Officers show up and there is a person that's armed claiming to be an Officer. You go ahead and see how that works out for ya.

Encouraging people to protect their own by being armed... I agree with that.

County officials set the costs etc... Essentially police are just armed revenue collectors for the state, who like those county officials, receive a paycheck funded with stolen money. Taxation is theft.

Zimmermann had no training, but how many trained officers abuse ad kill innocent people? Many!

Of course I agree there is crime. Of course, I disagree that we need a government stealing our money fight it, and stealing our money to punish someone while the victim is never restituted.

There would be no sworn officers.

As far as DUI is concerned, you don't need government ( by that, i mean thugs who receive stolen money who wear metal badges) to handle that. There are free market solutions.

Try about $60,000 a year, and that's just a road Trooper. The brass positions earn from 60 to 90 a year. I hate to disappoint you :0)
