Why is it a productive individual who pays into the system all their life has to wait, but a careless chicadee who gets prego on a drunk can get coverage instantly and after the birth has full coverage till the child turns 18???? The system is broken, and the welfare depts just eat up all the money, because it makes them money for every dollar they spend. The biggest problem with the medical cost in this country is the CEO,CFO,and those who take multi-millions a year for doing just about nothing, some say they do this or that, I say BullPucky, they sign some stupid piece of paper once a week so others get paid or property is purchased, but all the work was done by the people making 40,000 a year busting their butts daily. I say cap ALL CEO,CFO and the likes pay and limit there perks, then the cost of medical will go down. Then ya got those who say it's the cost of the supplies? well if ALL Ceo etc are limited wages, the cost of everything in this country will go down ten fold to a managable rate for everyone who pays into the system. Most CEO's only show up at the office on the day they sign the checks, then it's off to the bahamas or golf day. I know that any company I've ever worked for the big boss is only seen on payday prep day and office parties. There is too much upper admin greed in this country, look at the banking, stock, and financial markets, but who gets arrested? Only a few, hope more get took by the justice dept to their club fed. Let one of those flunkies up on the hill in the glitter domes thruout this country get sick and they pay for nothing, start making them pay for their gas, cars, insurance, and the likes just as everyone of us do then they might open up their eyes, and see the real world. A pure example is the show "secret millionaires", they all have said the same thing,"I didn't know it was like this!!" That is because they are flying on there big jets, they can't see the little people around them, and when on the ground they don't notice us because they are too vain to see us as we are human. It's only a number on a page to them, who if the financial numbers for your number isn't good enough, they get another munber in your place, so it all about what THEY got and how to keep us from getting it, or figuring out how they swindled us out of it and how not to get caught doing it!!!

Just a few examples of how screwed up our health care system is. It goes on, and there are people up there signing these bills that continue to pass that make it worse for all of the hard working middle class americans that pay taxes so every one else can be insured...with no deductables, no copays, no limits, or "donut holes". Lets not forget the pharmaceutical companies that monopolize outrageous costs so they can continue making such huge profits which equal bonuses for those executives that don't have to worry how they are going to pay for their next Dr. visit. Until there is some control over these insurance companies we'll just keep paying more for "coverage" that will be subject to denials pending profit margins. Michael Moore needs to do a "Sicko" follow up!!

The wait will be much longer under Universal Health Care - you'll have to live with the pane. There won't be any new innovation in cures - because Universal Health Care won't subsidize it.

If it's not life threatening you may never get the surgery under Universal Health Care. It will be a simple Supply and Demand issue. Health Care professionals will leave the industry with the reduced pay and increased work load - wouldn't you? Other socialized countries have benefited from our Private sector pharmaceutical research and then made generic versions. That to will end.
