ALBANY, N.Y. -- With New York's Medicaid coverage already broader than federal law requires, the state expects to add about 75,000 more people to the program next year under the health care overhaul, plus another 425,000 who are already eligible but don't know it.

Increases in Medicaid are a sign that our economy is still "flat-on-it's-face;" contrary to the B-S that economists are telling you. Keep in mind, these are the same 'financial gurus' who caused this mess, with most of them concentrated in NYC-WALL STREET.

It can be a good thing because Medicaid can help people who will get sick.

Most of them fake getting sick to get drugs which in turns causes them to get sick for real.
Let them buy their drugs on their own dime.
They also get pregnant to get on welfare and get more benefits which in turn adds more children born into poverty to repeat the cycle in the future.
There should be a law, that while they're getting any gov, assistance they have to be on birth control and get tested for illegal drugs and tested to make sure they take drugs prescribed to them correctly. Meds should be ounted at every doctor visit to ensure no drug selling or trading occurs.
