The policy change was expected to draw criticism from Congress and taxpayers. However, the Department of Health and Human Services said Friday the proposal was withdrawn until the agency's appeals board considers a challenge to the federal government's existing policy that such operations are experimental and should not be covered by Medicare or ... Well, Well, Well! How do they feel now? Barrack Obama
Practically guaranteed this and naive TSes voted for him in droves! You've been lied to! And more lies are coming! Just the other week, Hilary was telling you how much she supported LGBT rights. Hey, there's still a couple of years of the Obama debacle left and this means that he has no intentions of doing anything and is going to pass this "Never to be bitten!" Carrot on to his successor. Keep trying Girls and Guys! Maybe you'll get close enough to taste it now and then, but they'll never let you catch it.

I didnt vote for him because of his promises I didnt even know he promised this and if I had i would have been against it. Part of transition is the hard work we put into it. It is how we discover who we are and what we are made of.

I voted for Obama for the same reason I vote for any president. And the reason is very sad but true. I vote for them because they are the lesser of the two evils. Obama was the devil I knew where as Romney was the Devil I didnt know and from what I Saw in his campaigns he was the worse of the two.

I am against the government paying for gender reassignment until it pays for all cases. It is not something that is required to live. Its not cruel and unusual to let a criminal go without GRS as they seem to think in what was it Mass?

I will piss off alot of transgender people by saying this but its time we put on our big people cloths and get over this entitled attitude we have. We do deserve equal rights yes. But we deserve them when they don't infringe on others rights. If you commit a crime you kinda give up your right to have GRS unless you can find a way to pay for it yourself like the rest of us law abiding transgender people.

Finally if the government pays for GRS because we are Poor what incentive do we have to strive for better. If criminals get GRS what incentives do we have to be law abiding citizens. No I think its much better that we have something to strive for then have it handed to us on a silver platter.

My posting was almost pure sarcasm! I agree with you about who should pay for their own operations and who the Devil is. However, I couldn't come to the conclusions you came to without having absolute faith in what was democratic propaganda and character assassination. You couldn't have made a worse choice. I have looked hard at Romney's character and the only thing that you can say about is that he is successful. I really am scared about living in a country where a person can be demonized for being successful.

We are too quick to blame Obama. While he is the cause of most of the problems within the US political system it is not really his doing but the fact that hes there.

He has tried to get both sides to cooperate but just as what happened during Bush's term by the Democrats the republicans would rather America fail and prove that the democrats were wrong than compromise and do whats best for America.

So yes these problems are Caused by Obama, but they are not his doing. While we focus on him and his failures which btw are about everything he has done. We ignore the real problem the real reason for those failures which is a dying political system with two parties who would rather watch The America we know die to prove that the other group is wrong than work together to make this country great again.
