No I don't have to read Locke. The Constitution is its own document. The founding fathers did not allow the 2nd amendment to be applied to 1/3 of the population. Same with the other 9 BORs. If these are "natural rights" why did they do that?

For someone who CLAIMS to be educated, you show very little in the way of understanding when it comes to our rights, and the founders views on what we should do when our government (or people like you) tries to take them away.

You and your ilk are more than welcome to attempt to make gun ownership a criminal offense, but just be aware that the rest of us have not only the right, but the DUTY to prevent the bastardization of the constitution.
And a side note: that INCLUDES our active military men and women who have sworn to protect that constitution from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC (again, this means people like you)

It is not those that take up arms to PROTECT the constitution that are "terrorist" it is those of you who are trying to subvert it.

Ex-soldier faces jail for handing in gun
Saturday, November 14, 2009, 12:15A former soldier who handed a discarded shotgun in to police faces at least five years imprisonment for "doing his duty".
Paul Clarke, 27, was found guilty of possessing a firearm at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday – after finding the gun and handing it personally to police officers on March 20 this year.
The jury took 20 minutes to make its conviction, and Mr Clarke now faces a minimum of five year's imprisonment for handing in the weapon.
In a statement read out in court, Mr Clarke said: "I didn't think for one moment I would be arrested.
