Read all about it and confirm the above quote right here: http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elec... I cited you the applicable Georgia statutes. Now I'll quote the law for you. From the Code of the State of Georgia: "O. C. G. A.§ 15-10-22. Qualifications of magistrates (a) Each magistrate shall have been a resident of the county for one year next preceding the beginning of his term of office and shall as of such date be at least 25 years of age and shall possess a high school diploma or its equivalent." Now, Priscilla, I expect an apology from you! If you do not apologize within the hour, I'm going to have to revoke your posting privileges here. Btw, are you Cochran's mother? Sister? Wife? Mistress? And if you are beautiful, I need to take a look to verify that claim. I have a good eye for beauty. Where may you be seen? I'll judge your looks for myself. NO its me Ms. Doubtfire

I'll tell you what do, bozo. Give both of them polygraph exams by an FBI-certified examiner on up-to-date equipment, and we'll see who's telling the truth. Voice stress analysis would be helpful too. We already know that ex-cop, disgraced magistrate Bryant Cochran is a liar and was a corrupt magistrate. So my money is on him flunking the polygraph, and Angela Garmley passing it. Meth addicts are too brain-fried and squalid to hide their meth in magnetic boxes on the undercarriage of their cars. Nice try, though, bozo. The magnetic box and a stop and search just a few days after she ratted that POS out screams "PLANT!" "SETUP!" "Planted Evidence!" Jeez, would I ever hate to be living within a hundred miles of Murray County, GA. It must be swarming with inbred crackers like you and that toothless ditz I've been slapping around. Now go down to the sty and waller with your hawgs awhile.

Been There Seen That wrote: <quoted text> Your magistrates have chambers? Jeez, what a wacky comment! Have you ever heard the expression "False in one, false in all?" Well, that's what you got with this crooked, corrupt magistrate -- he's thoroughly corrupt. So if a woman of whatever character, high or low, says he propositioned her, I would believe it because signing warrants in blank to be filled out later by an officer, whom I would also believe to be corrupt, is just dirty, corrupt, and rotten. Who would want to live in a grimy place like this where law-enforcement is overseen by dishonest degenerates like this magistrate and the corrupt cops who use his pre-signed warrants? Sheesh! He had an office...where people would go to speak to him. I live in this county and love it here. They have made no impact on my life .

WHO ME wrote: <quoted text> YOU seem to forget that the JQC has ruled that there is no need to look further into the alledged proposition claims. If she wants to take it any further she will have to file a civil suit. That means that he wasn't attempting to "misuse" or "abuse" his political power. So you think maybe she was not telling the truth?? Sounds like it to me. I think it is not over. I don't know if there will be a civil suit, maybe it will just fade away. The whole thing is gray area. She could be lying. If she did not save the alleged text messages then it would be her word against his and up until the time when the blank signed warrants were found we would all have believed him. I also think that when the JQC found the signed blank warrants they realized there was a much larger problem from that office. This one provable and totally unlawful. I, along with most of Chatsworth liked what I saw of Mr. Cochran. It's just a sad time for our County.

You have your location hidden. Are you in Murray County? You've been caught in a whole parade of lies, one after the other, so that makes you a liar too. And you give neither logical nor truthful information. The material you stole off the internet was about FEDERAL magistrates, not Georgia magistrates, bozo. I just looked at the Georgia Code, and anyone with a high school education can be a magistrate. Georgia magistrates are appointed by the judges of the Superior Court of the county in which the appointee lives. See O.C.G.A.§ 15-10-20 (2012) Let me know where you live and I'll come by and tell you all the disgusting things that you are, as if you didn't already know. Then I'll pull your big potato nose for ya. Of course I have already beeotch-slapped you all over the pages of this forum. You are right about part of your statement. You do not have to be a lawyer to be a magistrate judge. You must be 25 years of age or older, reside in the county but you are not appointeed by a Superior Court judge. You have to qualify for an election and be voted on by the people of the county. Yep in an election which Mr. Cochran won. Sorry but you are only partly right. And really someone should wash your mouth out with soap. Name calling is very childish or did no one ever tell you that?

So Cochran was elected, but magistrates are also appointed. I saw the statute. Look it up for yourself. If Cochran was elected that makes him that much more of a shame to North Georgia and Murray County. He ought to do a little time behind bars as a deterrent to others tempted to be like him. Our sheriff here in Western North Carolina is in prison for honest services corruption and for taking bribes. He's got a decade or so to do before he's released, and he may well die behind bars, which won't hurt the feelings at all of the many people he betrayed. Maybe you can buy enough of that soap to wash the grime of sin from your county, and a few packs of 80-grit to sandpaper the souls of the corrupt officials in your county. I guarantee you that Cochran is not alone in his corruption. May I suggest that red Dial soap? It smells as fragrant as a rich woman's doushe. Maybe it tastes good too. Now don't eat it all up before the mouth-washing, please, m'dear.
