This guy is obviously pumped up. I will bet he is subject to roid rage. Columbus Fire says they can't test a firefighter for steroid use and that is wrong. You don't get as big as some of these guys have without the juice.
There is no doubt this guy should be fired but changes in what firefighters and police officers can be tested for abuse of must change.
It's not the first time they have seen a pumped up firefighter and or have been warned about roid use or illegal abuse. If a public servant isn't shooting the juice to pump up they shouldn't fear the tests now should they?

I am thinking that this has nothing to do with steroids.....as mentioned by a previous poster. Not sure why that was brought up.
I would say this guy is capable of much worse. We will see his name and face in the news again....but about something more serious. I agree.....this is exactly like Michael Vick. Fire this irresponsible, good for nothing low life. He doesn't deserve to be a public service job.

A lot of good people have lost jobs in this economy due to no fault of their own. I'm sure the Columbus FD can find many people more competent and compassionate than this scumbag to fill his position.

Gonzo you are in Illinois. He is pumped up as are a few others and the act of rage it took to hang two dogs and shoot them inside a house fits roid rage PERFECTLY.

People with this kind of pathology need to be institutionalized. If Santuomo is not fired, Safety Director Mitchell Brown might as well say, "We don't have a problem keeping moral degenerates on our team." It will bring shame to the department and to the city.

One previous post mentioned that this guy will probably do worse in time to come.. Probably so, counseling might help, but it might take this guy getting treated asd poorly as the dogs he shot.

If, some one could post his fire station's telephone number and his cheif's contact number at the station (all public info, but making it easier by putting it up here) I would be great full and owuld call to complain and note some notes to the station..

I know that this guy is NOT representative of individuals that make up the CFD. They are regular folks doing a dangerous job. It's criminal that they have to be associated with him.

Down here in southwest Ohio, particularly in Cincinnati, such well-deserved firings are almost ALWAYS overturned if the employee appeals to an arbitrator. I hate to say it, but don't be surprised if (a) he appeals being fired, and (b) it's overturned by the arbitrator, so he's re-instated with back pay. It's almost as predictable as the sun rising in the east, and it greatly frustrates Cincinnati city management, its police/fire leadership, but above all, the public!

I can't begin to tell you how this sick SOB makes me GAG! What a pathetic excuse for a human. Why have they let this kind of maniac WORKfor the people? He considers himself a public servant? Santuomo...you are base....you are a nothing....those poor defenseless animals...the horror they must have experienced is staggering to my mind. I am not a religious person...but if there's a hell...I hope the portals open wide.
