More lawsuits against a county with no money
.
More Good Ol' boy cover up's
.
More ineptness from a DA and Police Department that has gotten nothing done in years.(Drug Flow has actually increased exponentially in lebanon and according to this complaint/suit even city employees are involved)
.
Now looking at the Bright side Hopefully she wins, gets a couple of Mill and they can move away so that Annville can get a decent Police chief and not base the township economy on traffic violations and chasing college kids, or counting how many people are living in a house.

So many things wrong with this I know I didn't cover 1%...Please expand

Ask Michelle Gooden. She knows everything.

I predict this suit will be as successful as Kevin Snavely's was.

i know this wont be a popular response, but i think the da and the police do a pretty decent job here. other than certain areas of the city where i can choose or not choose to visit, i feel the county and city are safe places to live, work and play.
if people felt the da was doing a lousy job, why did he run unopposed?

Apparently someone has angered the czar of Annville and his band of merry men. How dare the DA fire a bad employee who stabbed him in the back? How dare the Chief County Detective make a decision that his employees must follow? It's right that this waste of space known as Kohut-Burge gets fired. Too bad for all that Annville residents since YOUR TOWNSHIP COMMISSIONERS VOTED TO HIRE HER FOR YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT!!! Annville is out of control...
Did anyone know that

This a great place to voice opinions and or frustrations. Mrs. Burdge may be a bad cop and a loony and the Annville Township Commissioners might be a bunch of idiots for hiring her. It is also possible that she is a good cop who was mistreated by her BOSS. I hope the courtroom brings some clarity and objectivity to this matter and has an outcome that shows what is really going on here.

The chief does a great job.

Its the court system that sucks when they pick and choose who they are going to go after. Go in the municipal building you will notice that Lady Justice does not have a blindfold. I swear they did that on purpose.

maybe u should do your homework into lebanon it has its own laws and they are firing her for speaking up against one of their own so that makes her wrong no in my opinion that makes her right lebanon has alot of people in office just like anywhere else that dont think they r touchable by the laws all this woman has done wrong is bring in to light now maybe they can weed out the bad apples and replace him/her with someone who will obide by the same laws the rest of us have to live by thank you to her for fighting back

That was Lebanon Chief, I agree that Annville is horrible.

Speed trap 1) By elementary school on 934
2) By Pizza shop right before Allen theater.
3) Hess station
4) Bank drive way right at 934
The town has one traffic light and minimum of four speed traps.

Funny thing they trap you in Annville and they give you the fine 500 feet away in South Annville.
They have one cop at elementary school timing you and another at HS waiting to give you the fine who did not see you speeding.

Anville must be the waste treatment facilitiy for lebanon, when you get fired from there they pick you in Annville.

Hail to the Chief,
Here is an idea for you...OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT!!!! I lived in the city for a long time, and got more than my fare share of parking tickets, but NEVER got angry with LPD, as it was MY FAULT that I got the ticket! I am sick and tired of listening to people whine and blame everyone else for their bad decisions. I love living in Annville! Don't get me wrong, every police dept has "issues", that is just the reality of life. As for the lawsuit, good for her!! If you don't stand up for something, you will fall for anything!!! Everyone needs to shut up and allow Lady Justice to work this out!

I just can't drive 55

The issue is not the speeding is that over 50K of their budget comes from fines and when they plan their next budget they already account a minimum of 50K for the next year. You see...If I don't speed they don't make money.:'-(

(Budget is public info from their website)but I'm not doing your research for you after all ignorance may be a Bliss.

Ask Les, he knows. He had the file the other day. The county employee is no threat to sensitive info. This is a case of two Burge's not making a right.

Why don't the other detectives sue after being fired for not supporting Arnold? They did less, and were fired for not supporting the winner.

diappointed in FSM, a cut-through-the-bull- poster here normally. I challenne that you are mixing issues based upon the assumption it is a problem by the DA. is it not wholly possibly that it is an issure of poor performance or intentionally seeking entitlement upon these issues? FSM i expect a valued response

The issue should have been discussing a case, which is a big no no. As for her performance, I can't speak either way. The IT person has an outstanding work record, however a criminal record as well, which was dealt with. Discusing cases goes on, all the time, not only in the DA's office, but others as well. Her termination was due to the fact that she and her husband has a big mouth which landed her in hot water.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Scorpio

Be careful how you handle a certain someone today because their mood is little short of incendiary. They'll jump down your throat if you dare to disagree with them, and then accuse you of being a wimp if you decide that it would be better to agree with everything they say. You can't win! If they really get on your wick, you'll have to give them a piece of your mind, even if it is supposed to be the season of goodwill to all men. Huh!
