"Cavalier cowboy attitude" so perfectly describes this Barney Fife police department.

People were killed in the previous two FPD shootings this year, and the explanation (partially) is that officers shoot to kill--not injure. However, this gun-wielding madman of an officer merely injured his hardened criminal. What happened, officer? Do you have lousy aim?

Fools.

The officer must be doing a great job if he warrants the special attention of a local attorney. Good Job officer, keep up the good work. The law abiding citizens of this city appreciate your hard work and the difficult situations you are faced with.

Yeah fine work. Going to cost the city a ton of money for shooting an unarmed man on another traffic stop. Lets look at recent happenings, a segeant back on patrol after not being cleared of rape charges, another sitting on the payroll for a domestic violence restraining order granted, an officer who idly stands by while a drunk is beat with a flashlight. Those are what they keep.

A decorated veteran Det Sgt let go for doing his job for questioning the Chief and a captains actions in a death investigation, then documents the questionable actions of the city manager, who is a proven liar, on numerous occaisions both in the CVB theft and his son.

Yep fine police department you have going there.

Yeah, but they promoted Shawn "navakiller" Scott after he killed a navajo. Although he was lucky enough to turn off his video. I heard he recently ventilated an Azteca warrior so it might go either way for him now: Promotion or fired. Promotion is my guess. Frazier was just too stupid to turn off his video so he got fired for being mainly just plain stupid, not for playing a tune on a nava-skull.

Woah there hoss. Frazier was fired for unprofessional conduct. Civil Rights violation. Period. His conduct was completely unprofessional. Don't compare the two, or three. Would you prefer that our officers don't have the courage to protect the citizens they took and oath, swore to protect? Do you actually prefer they don't use deadly force? What if your daughter, sister, mother, grandmother was reportedly 'killed'? And, the perpetrator is currently in your neighborhood, threatening you, your family? What do you want the officer to do? Seconds...that's the amount of time these officers have to make a decision. Not 'armchair quarterback' opinions. Seconds! What information was he given? That there was an injured or possibly dead victim in the neighborhood and the suspect was still on the prowl. What would you have him do? Take notes? Interview the suspect? Put himself in harms way? Don't buy into the propaganda. When you call 911, do you want a security guard or an armed officer of the law, a trained, dedicated individual who is qualified to handle any emergency situation? You do the math. I'll call 911.

Your point is? What? You support the allegations presented by the 'defense attorneys', or, perhaps you support the local law enforcement? In no way do I condone the actions of the city manager. But to 'group' all local law enforcement into a 'hate them' article? Inappropriate. By the Daily Times and the local defense attorneys. What would you all do without them? Call each other the next time someone is breaking into your home...or...call 911....trained, educated and dedicated individuals...who know their job, are trained to respond...who perform in a moments notice. Period. Want Titus to respond to you? Don't think he has the training....Want Stoker to respond to your call or help? Ain't gonna happen. If you want Stoker to respond, wave some money his way...that's his '911'. His job? To do what he can to discredit our officers. He PROFITS from this! Period. Show me the money bubba. Put your money where your mouth is. Don't take 'pot shots' at the local law enforcement...without valid proof. Show me the money....

Yeah, all those are noble qualities, and it's regrettable that our law enforcement, in its current state, is the best we have. Aside from the far too numerous questionable occurrences which justifiably cause the public to doubt and question, FPD's over zealous traffic stop mentality is often nothing more than harassment of law abiding citizens.
