There were several witnesses to the incident. All of whom said that David Summer's was provoked. Criswell's [spits*] lawyer was betting on David Summer's not returning. The prediction was David Summer's is NOT' going to go away. The second of several lawsuits that holds the city officials responsible for damage, is a young woman named Erin Joynt. You may recall Erin, was run over by a beach vehicle in south Daytona. As a district #2 council member, and as a county chairperson, Josh Wagner, & Frank Bruno should be held responsible if in fact South Daytona is on a seperate set of books. Bankruptcy: would mean a complete restructuring of pension plans- golden parachutes as you call them. Fireman through out the entire county would be investigated under tax laws. The Florida Sunshine Law that protects the city officials would not apply certainly should not apply, because they under suspicion-[what else is new..?]

Look at the judge! They don't call him Free Willy for nothing. Note: the defense attorney used to be one of his law partners. He has his favorites and definitely don't like cops as that has been prooven in the past. His judical assistant gets arrested last year, try looking that one up. Its all really not what you know but who you know. The system is such a joke. They really ought to do a segment on Dateline or 20/20, and dig. You would be surprised of what really goes on. You would think we are some little hick town in Georgia. its all about the money and influence, not about right or wrong. He who has the most money or knows the right people wins, plain and simple. we will all meet our maker someday, so they can explain it then. just because the law lets you get away with bad deeds does NOT make it right!

The Florida sunshine law protects city employees & their associates, from being held accountable for their actions.= Fred Costello is working to change that. Agree or disagree with his politics, the fight still goes to Tallahassee. Even with a new Editor & Chief- the News Journal is still not a reliable source. Judge Will is a seperate issue, politics has to be divided before it can be linked together. Recent news would suggest that Wills tie to local politics would be Joyce Cusack. Ted Doran & [grrr] Wagner are legal loopholes. Doran never stepped down.. Crime still keeps the economy down regardless of how wide spread it is. And that's part of what is feeding their corruption.
