Man convicted in 1989 sex crime granted release; headed to Bay Point
A Contra Costa man convicted of committing a sexual crime against a minor 24 years ago has been granted release from a state hospital and will be allowed to live in Bay Point near an elementary school -- much to the dismay of some local residents.

Bay point is not the personal dumping grounds of this attorney's sexual-predator clients. Why is their little cottage always vacant? We deserve to have a safe community. We are worth the same consideration as neighborhoods that house judges, doctors and CEO's. Why doesn't the attorney move this guy into his spare bedroom or let him sleep on the couch at his personal residence?

i want to know if a sexual predator is not allowed to live within a quarter mile of a school, why are they always released to this same place. i wonder if it was a rapist who raped attorney's wives, this attorney would let him live there? move him to your neighborhood, better yet build the cottage behind your home and house him there!!!!!!!!!!
