Closing arguments made in South Florida pill mill trial
Two doctors accused of practically rubber-stamping oxycodone prescriptions at pill mills in Broward and Palm Beach counties made their final appeals to a federal jury in West Palm Beach on Thursday, with defense attorneys arguing that they were genuinely trying to help people in pain and had no idea they were tangled in a criminal conspiracy.
