Springfield DJ Says She Was Fired for Being Gay
The host of a morning radio show in Springfield, Mo., is speaking out after she was laid off Friday - she says because she is openly gay and an outspoken advocate for LGBT equality.

I hope that's the station's real argument and not just something you made up for topix, because I'm just sort of betting that that time slot still has a dj on air during the "canceled" morning program.
Showing her firing wasn't about money.
If they put a cheaper show of some sort on during that time slot then they could have kept the fired dj on as she had been.
