How long do you need to do something about it? This is nothing new. Why have you let it get to this point?

Every few months, the mayor calls the Jackson Sun for another story of how he's aware of the high crime rate. Then the police chief will say it is unacceptable. Same ole, same ole! Nothing changes.

Before you complain, you might take time to actually read what he said. He is not wrong at all when he says that it is up to the entire community to address these problems. He was also too diplomatic to say, that it is the fault of every apathetic person who does nothing to improve things, those who refuse to live up to their responsibilities, and those who think that the government exist to take care of them, as if they were overgrown children. Those of you who simply complain, and then take no action at all, are the worst in my book.
He presents a bold, workable plan that could make Jackson a really nice comfortable productive place to live and/or raise a family, if it weren't for one problem; people.
While the problems of the community belong to the people, the weight of our city is on his shoulders.
Jesus Christ, I just defended a politician. I have obviously lost my mind. I am going to get out into the wilderness for a few days now, and look for my primal roots. I seem to have misplaced them.
