For whatever reason, people like you believe Limbaugh without question, and thus, you believe a lot of things that are flatly false. Limbaugh and Fox are not "telling the rest of the story" or revealing some hidden truth. They are just shilling for a tiny minority of fanatics who have no interest in anything other than their own wealth and power. And they drag guys like you into it by tricking you into thinking you are being victimized by the "takers".
If Rush Limbaugh walked up to you on the street, and grabbed you by the lapels, and started screaming, "You gotta help the richest one per cent increase their wealth! You have to!" you would probably tell him to get off of you, and that increasing some rich guy's wealth isn't your problem. And you would of course be right to do so.
So Limbaugh takes a different approach. He identifies those whom he sees as being in the way of increasing his and his other one percenters' wealth, and he tells you that that person is "taking" something from YOU, and the only way to combat that evil "taker" is by listening to Rush and voting Republican.
Why you guys fall for that, I can't explain.
Let me fill you in on something: Limbaugh's web site is loaded with sites where he gets his information from. You can go to his site right now and find the links to what he was talking about today and just about every other day. They are not full of anything. They are correct over 99% of the time. It's why they are number one and liberal outlets eventually fold up after a while. Conservative broadcasting needs not to be supplemented by our US tax dollars like PBS and NPR.

What Rush preaches is for people to create their own wealth. Taking wealth from somebody is not limiting their ability to create wealth. They can still create wealth, it's just that government wants more and more of it to support the non-producers in our society and idiotic spending. Nobody really minds paying taxes if the tax money is being used in a productive way and not vote buying like Solyndra, Cowboy poetry and The Arts. That's where people get upset.

No, because for one, they have respect for the law. Two, they don't act like that in the face of authority.

Gates and DumBama were not embarrassed by anybody. They embarrassed themselves. And yes, it is against the law to not follow the orders of a police officer during an investigation. Turn on the show C.O.P.S. sometime or purchase a police scanner. You will see for yourself. When police officers are trying to restore order and you don't comply, you will be arrested. Saying that it's okay to disobey their orders is like saying you don't have to follow their signals when they are directing traffic at a non-functioning stop light.

The fact that Rush's website has links doesn' prove anything. He is still a liar, and he persuades people to belive his lies, and he even persuades gullible people to oppose their own interests.

Let me ask you a question. You recall that Rush had a lot to say about Sandra Fluke, the young woman who testified before Congress a few months ago. Rush said that she is a "slut" and that it is wrong for her to ask the taxpayers to "pay for her to have sex". Here is my question. Do you agree or disagree with Rush about Sandra Fluke?

I don't think he should have called her a slut, but I do agree it's not the job of the federal government to force insurance companies to pay for recreational medicine. You want to have sex, fine with me. Pay for it yourself. I feel that way about a lot of things. You want a family with five children, then have five children, but you support them--not me. I have my own bills to pay.

You are wrong. When gun and ammo regulations affect US Citizens as a whole, eg. as a preventive measure to all, that is an infringement.
Look up the definition of infringe. Then tell us how regulating certain guns and ammo on all citizens is not an infringement.

Then talk to a police officer about his or her training in the academy. That's what you are taught. Restore order. If somebody resists that, throw them in the car and lock them up for a while. Again, watch the show C.O.P.S. It's on almost every Saturday at 8:00 pm EST. I never miss an episode.

Well you see xxx, here is a good example of you buying into a lie that Rush told you. He told you that Sandra Fluke was asking the taxpayers to pay for her to have sex. He was lying. But see, Rush knows that people like you did not acutually listen to Fluke's testimony. If you had, you would know that she never mentioned anything about sex. Her testimony focused on contraception as it relates to women's heath issues, not their sexual habits.

But the main thing you would have known is that Fluke's testimony had nothing to do with taxpayer funding for her insurance. She was talking about a private insurance policy that she holds. She pays the insurance premiums, not you, and not any other taxpayer.

So you see, by listening to Rush, instead of to Fluke's actual testimony, you were tricked into believing that Sandra Fluke was trying to "take" something from you.

And as always, Rush is right.

Who do you think pays for medical treatment, prescriptions, procedures and major surgery? The insurance company? Do you have a job where your employer pays for your healthcare premiums? Ask him or her how much medical insurance increases nearly every year.

We all pay for it be it surgeries or contraception. Every worker indirectly pays for their own healthcare. When people abuse the system or have more bills for the insurance company to pay, they increase the price of their premiums to our employers and employees who pay a portion of that cost.

Do you really believe that we Rush listeners just take his input and leave it there? Of course we don't. We look at his links, we find our own links, and read opposing stories. I know exactly what Fluke was up to. She's a Cradle to Graver. She didn't ask the President to force insurance companies to pay for contraception as it relates to other medical conditions. She wanted insurance companies to pay for contraception whether it's for birth control or any other related medical condition.

Also, what your side didn't tell you is that no matter what the medical condition is of a woman, there are many alternative drugs to contraception pills available for their particular ailment. It's a red herring.

No, Rush is not right. Sandra Fluke pays for her own insurance premiums. You do not pay her insurance premiums, and she did not ask you to. She simply testified before Congress, advocating her position, which is her right as an American citizen.

If the congress decides that insurance companies must include contraception for their females policy holders, it will not cost YOU one dime, because it is Ms. Fluke, not you, who pays the premiums on HER private insurance.

Do you see my point? You call her a "cradle to graver", as if she is asking for some sort of handout. Even if her insurance starts covering contraception for any reason, SHE will still be paying for it. Do you understand? SHE PAYS her own premiums. Consider this too. Rush is trying to make you think she is some sort of "leech" or "parasite". She is in law school. Do you really think she is going to law school because she doesn't intend to work?

Let me recap for you one more time. Sandra Fluke is a college student who currently pays for her own health insurance. She is not on unemplyment. She is not on welfare. She fully intends to work, and to contribute to society.

But you call her a "cradle to graver". Do you know why you call her that? Becuase Rush has tricked you, that's why.
