Do you live in a cave? All the major papers in Chicago, and elsewhere have reported about the Obamascam plan. It is unaffordable for the people who are not subsidized, and the deductible is outrageous. The young people who are supposed to finance it won't touch it, and the old people still have Medicare. That leaves what is left of the middle class to foot the entire bill. You live in fantasy land. Obamascam will cost the Democrats the Senate, and additional seats in the House in November. Maybe then they will figure out how to disconnect themselves from the worst law ever written.

In the most advanced society on earth.
That is mind numming and a disgrace. Third world countries never see such a devastation.
This is what the Republicans are promoting, 45K needless death of citizens they're supposed to represent
That IS their healthcare plan. Hitler-ish, ain't it?

So you drink the republican koolaid provided by the ignorant tea party and listen to a few words from a statement that she made and think you know what she actually said. You and the mouth breathing cretins who think like you are making the 2016 election another one that will be in the bag for democrats since your focus is on all the wrong things. Your tea party compatriots hate Obama so much they have turned the republican party into the party of "no". instead of focusing on solutions, the main focus was- for four years- to deny Obama reelection. Now the tea party is focused on repealing the Affordable Care Act and sitting on their hands and doing nothing else. WAY TO GO!. Keep it up and you will NEVER see another republican president.

BTW, you do know that LGBT is about 10% of the population- that is 10% that does vote and will not vote for those that are against them. Now you have 12% African American. Totals up to 22% of the vote. Women are over 50% and they dislike the republicans. You are left with a bunch of aging white men who are an increasingly smaller part of the population to try and wield a majority from.

But tea partiers don't believe in logic, math or science — you know, all that mainstream stuff they deplore.

By the time President Obama walks out of the W H in 2017 there won't be enough Democrats to form a Good by line. He has us practically in WW3, and he doesn't even join his security task force for a conversation. He goes to bed early. Has to get his beauty sleep. We need Uncle Joe to lead us out of this mess.
The Affordable Care Act is a republican invention dating back to 1989
.
The universal participation requirement was introduced by republican John Chafee in 1993
.
Republicans spent 21 years working out all the details and passing it through both houses of congress before President Obama signed it into law
.
This is undeniable proof that the plan is perfect; but only if President Bush had signed it
.
Racism is the obvious reason for all the bitching and moaning

I'll bet you said this to all of the people who were NOT covered by anything before the ACA was in effect such as people with preexisting conditions. Most of the shortcomings of the law were put in place to appease republicans

I found this interesting. Most Efficient Healthcare Ratings, worldwide. I'm not sure of the date of this list.

The last I heard we had been ranked 37th. This list shows 46th.

Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act) is not an insurance company. It is not an insurance policy. It is not socialized medicine. It is a law that sets standards for healthcare benefits that insurance companies must have in their policies.

Discuss.

You're half right. Because of the laws brought down due to Obamacare, that sets the standards for healthcare now. But the the government does run healthcare now, thus called Obamacare, which is not as they said it would be.Sounded real good on paper. If you sign up for Obamacare, as of now, people are in a nightmare situations. Can't get specialist to accept their coverage and can't get the doctors they want or have had. Premiums are high or very high deductibles which you can't meet unless you have a major accident or illness. You can opt out and seek coverage on your own but because of standards set by Obama, the companies have to have coverage on people even though it does even apply to them, such as maternity coverage for men or people who can't even have children.

You have credited me with being "half right" (i.e., about Obamacare setting the standards for healthcare, but you have neither addressed nor refuted my other assertions. Please continue.

Also, please cite credible evidence that would support your assertion that, "If you sign up for Obamacare, as of now, people are in a nightmare situations." For example, cite some actual "nightmare situations."
