Korban is all about the money not the patient,He is in competition with a few other select doctors on who owns the most doctorless clinics in the area. There are doctors with integrity and personal pride out there but they are getting fewer and fewer. Doctors have gotten away from the basic principle of helping people. A good doctor is not arrogant-a good doctor even likes people and cares. Integrity-compassion-honor-thi ngs of days gone by......

Why do you think that Jackson General kicked Dr. Korbin out? They didn't want to get caught when the Feds hammer down on him for improper procedures and billing.

Anyone remember Dr. Semeral that the Feds nailed?

Interesting that Korbin is at money hungry, Regional Hospital. Regional doesn't really care about patients, just the insurance money.(they dont do charity).

people are jealous of korbin because he gets alot of ass and makes alot of money...period the end.
as for the billing...im sure he is creative...kinda like every single doctor out there is....not to mention, the lawyer who typed the lawsuit, the judge who signed it, the senators who made the medicare law, and the tax payer who's money was used to pay the bill...(they probably didn't claim their income on scratch off winnings)
if you wanna do it right...clean sweep all doctors, then shoot all lawyers in the head and most judges too.

Boy: I hope you found a Doctor who gave you the drugs you wanted so you won't have to go back to see Dr. Korban since he wouldn't give you valium and then wouldn't give you a sediative while you were having a test. Dr Korban knows I have a bad back and he always makes sure I'm comfortable while I'm having any test but I didn't ask for drugs he just ordered them.

Korban jams his office with patients like an assembly line, running from one exam room to the other & often forgetting you're even there. His staff asks the same 50 questions even if you were there the week before & it is insulting to one's intelligence because they assume you don't know what's going on. Even when I assured them that I am a highly educated professional with a margin of knowledge in medicine who takes a proactive stand on my health, they insisted on treating me in a condescending way. He dragged out my diagnosis for 8 months with 5 tests that could have easily been performed closer together. That might not present a problem for someone, but in my case as a cancer survivor with a chance the mass in my heart was malignant, dragging this out was torture, & when I begged him for a script for just a few Valium to help my rising blood pressure & anxiety, he snapped that he "saves lives" & walked out on me. Despite test results being in his possession for several weeks, he doesn't even look at them until you're in front of him, & even then his assistant highlights it for him first. He would change his story about my case from one visit to the other, even when there were no new test results to warrant that. He would cancel tests on his own even though people had rescheduled their lives to take me, & once in the hospital for a test (that he insisted was needed), would suddenly tell me we didn't need to do it & could instead go with another test, usually because he hadn't bothered to check a blood test result from the week before & now he worried it might be a problem to go ahead with the test as scheduled. Some tests that routinely give a patient sedation were not afforded to me, having nothing to do with risks, only his need to get it done quickly because he had patients backed up. One test I was kept awake for had me in excrutiating pain during the entire procedure & resulted in nightmares for several weeks. I refused to take a Stress Test (which has a high incidence of false positives) he routinely gives patients because I felt it was dangerous in my case & demanded a Cardiac CT in its place. He agreed, & it was then we discovered that the blood clot the test found in my heart would mostly probably have come loose during the Stress Test & killed me. When I had questioned one of his nurses why he was so quick to go with a Stress Test when other tests were safer, she confessed that it's because they KNOW insurance will pay for the Stress Test, but would have to get approval first for a different test. He is very cavalier toward patients, not reassuring. On more than one occasion he negated my concern for my health, laughing at me as if I was being a Drama Queen. He is a known womanizer, & it's pretty obvious how some of his staff got their job. One in particular had NO medical training for a Bubble Test I received, & I discovered that AS she was doing this test on me! Trust me there's more, but if anyone continues to see this guy after all this, don't say you weren't warned!

Dr. Korban may be a bit crooked and he may have made some very poor choices. With that said he IS a good doctor and does know what he is doing. I won't try to defend his womanizing I have seen it firsthand. However, it takes 2 to do the deed, if divorces arose from these situations there is just as much to be said about the women who allowed themselves to be put in those situations. It happens everyday to a lot of people who aren't in the limelight. Even If he did all of the scamming (which I suspect he did) I am still thankful for the fact that I would not be here without his knowledge of his field. The doctor did Save. My. Life. And his extra tests that weren't completely necessary showed him 2 other medical problems that I was not aware of as well as my regular doctors. So I can not complain about them as well. I am actually one of the people who are thrilled I had unnecessary testing. Sounds crazy I know but I wish him all the best and I hate he may have ruined his rep as a good doctor by trying to beat the system.

I have known Dr Korban for many years and I trust him with my life. All this mess that got out about him is untrue. Most people are just jealous of him. He always ask the patient before doing any tests or procedures. I should know. I had 2 heart attacks in less than a year but if I had listened to him in the beginning I could have prevented having them. I finally
learned to trust him and do what he says. I will always be on his side.

If it hadn't been for Dr Korban and his care and kindness I would be dead. He takes good care of me and I should have listened to him and had tests done before I did and I could have prevented my heart attack. Back off you jealous creeps. Dr Korban is honest.

Dr. Korban is cold and unfeeling. He asked questions and then completely ignored the answers. Literally the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. After my ultrasound I was sent to the waiting room. He didn't even have the decency to come out himself and tell me that I didn't have a heart attack. He sent someone else to tell me. The guy tried to get me to come back to his office a week later to have a second ultrasound done. He also put me on a medication that caused me physical harm.

Dr. Korban is a deplorable excuse for a human being and a real hack of a doctor. I'm not saying that I wish the worst for him, but I sure won't feel bad when it all catches up.
