What a fantastic story Walter is sharing with us. Thank you Daily Bulletin for doing this story.
Both of my grandpas passed when I was just a kid, and reading this helps me to imagine the stories my grandpas might have shared if they were around to tell them. Very exciting story about the bombardment of missiles on that Korean shore! Thanks for sharing!

you so much for your service and going on to become a teacher at OHS.

I was in the Nav way after you, 75-79, and honored to have served in the same branch as you.

We just chased around Russian subs and intel trawlers, they only fired back with radiation, lol.

Thanks again.....

It would be nice if you Jews could contain your urges to tell heroic stories that lack crucial details that are ultimately shown to be false.

Although Diane Shetzvah tried her best, this guy was not involved in the firing of the guns or the handling of the ordnance. Given that the ship was small, he may have been charged with testing the guns for functionality.

The people who do handle the firing of the guns and the handling of the ordnance are called "Gunner's Mates".

So, we have another individual that shirked combat, telling other people the importance of serving in combat.

I'll never forget the Jewish recruiter here in Upland that tried to pull this crap on me. You know what he does in the Navy? He's a fcking Store Keeper. Bwahahaha.

Kids, allow Uncle Ron to help you. The military assigns you ONE job that MAY have many RELATED duties. This means that Store Keepers(SK) do not fire weapons or handle ordnance. This means that Master at Arms do not handle explosives. This means that unless you are qualified to dispose of ordnance, you DO NOT dispose of ordnance.

When someone pulls this crap with you, ask them to produce their service record and show you their qualifications.
