I've heard that it isn't unusual for Korean Women in their 30's to look for American men in their 40's who are high in financial status and try to attrack them and sometimes trick them into marriage by getting pregnant so they can come to the U.S... Is this true?

American men who marry Korean women are fools. Race mixing is disgusting and these women are only using them to get to this country. I'd never consider a man whose been with an Asian. I'd much rather have a real man who could handle a real American woman.

Well, I'm telling you.
It is possible that your korean girl friend is
trying to make you turn back on your family, but
it rarely happens unless you told her that your
family had some sort of problems.
Most Korean girls appreciate the meaning of family
and you should appreciate them too
Before you say anything, you should think about how
you describe your own family and how you think about
your own family.

This is completely true!!
I have a mean Korean stepmother who has completely divided our family.
She is constantly playing the "injured dove". Demanding respect when she has
never even tried to earn it. My father knocked her up in Korea, and now they
have three additional children. It's so disgusting. She has completely alienated me and my other sibling from the family. It happens all the time.

I have to say here that I am now married to a man who was married to a Korean woman for 27 years and has two children ( now grown ) by her. She and the children are non accepting of me and my children as Americans. They do seem to have fairly strong family ties within the Korean side of the family, although "she" and her son have never gotten along. By that I mean that he is abusive to the point of "beating" his mom from the time he was 12. I truly believe that this is a result of his being half Asian and growing up in America he has had problems with relationships with American women. He is not happy with the fact that he is half Asin and takes this out on his mother. Sad but true.

Because Korean women are good at taking care of her man needs. In return, the man appreciates and is more in tune with her.

That might be the silliest post I've ever read in my life. Almost feel off my chair laughing.

Handle a real American woman....lol. What happens if you don't want to handle a real American woman? What happens when you don't want a real American divorce in 7 years? Bwa ha ha...real American woman. Give me a break.

American men have many options. We are not pigeon-holed to only chose a real American woman anymore. I'm married to a lovely asian lady and it has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with my ability to handle a real American woman. What a joke.

Vancouver Canada- Had more than 100 young women stay at my home from many countries, mostly Asia. Some met and married Canadians. All were well educated, could have succeeded well in mother country. As practical women they looked for more than sexual attraction of a partner and some wanted to stay in Canada. All weighed many factors before dating/marrying. Sponsorship into Canada was a consideration, but NOT the most important. The usual suspects of wanting security for themselves and any children both financial and emotional, respect, and companionship were at least equally high on their list. I visit them now as they are around forty years old. All are still married to their Canadian husbands living ordinary lives.
The easiest way for an "outsider" to understand Korean values is to think of the "American" ideal as portrayed in the 1950's family
shows. Family centered, religious, conservative, patriotic.
For Koreans the choice to immigrate was based mainly on the fear of war for children they might have and the Korean conservative work attitude that would limit them in getting the top positions.
Marriage for the wealthy and most thinking people now always
requires more thought than just "I love him, he's cute".

Vancouver Canada - Home stay father to many women. Some met and married Canadians. Still in contact with all and visit some who went back to Korea. All wished to marry, some did. All had many criteria in choosing a husband. For those who Married Canadian being "landed" was a factor, but NOT the most important. Most could have immigrated on their academic qualifications. It would just take longer. They married for stability, financial security, companionship, all the usual suspects as well as "good looks" playing a role. The women told me Korea was too restrictive to women getting ahead, families still very sensitive to social position and in the 1980-90's a fear of war for themselves and any children they might have was a big factor in wishing to find a husband outside Korea.
Think of Korean families like "American" 1950's t.v. families.
Strong family values, religious, conservative, patriotic, father is boss. The women dreamed of "American" modern families with women having equal value and opportunities. This should be a warning to any white guy that thinks an Asian woman is submissive. They are even more demanding than American women and less forgiving of a "bad man". I married one who was "landed"before meeting me and she is a terrorist if I don't "work hard for family".

I'm in my early 60's now, white and have mostly only dated Asian women since my mid 30's...after an "American" (Caucasian) wife of 9 years. I learn my lesson with that wife and a few other American women since, Asian women (Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese) are far better. My wife and partner of the last 12 years is Asian, Taiwanese (Han Chinese (Far northern))

Sure, Asia women can and usually are just a bit@hy, stubborn and pushy as western women - it's a Female trait after-all - but East Asian women (not SE Asian) are far more loving, tender, dedicated and stay better looking longer than western women. There are exception I will agree, especially if they have become too Americanized, but typically these behaviors are a very strong part of their lives and beliefs. E Asian women are better mothers and parent, discipline and education come first. Western women, their social life and entertainment are top priority. Asian women while often going for a less make-up look, still are concerned that they look good and attractive for their "man". My wife is 54 and still looks 24 and has a slender tight body, going to the gym 3 days a week to keep trim and relaxed.

I've had many very close relationships with Japanese, Korean and ethnic Chinese women in my past. All acclimate to my family and my boys from my first marriage and frankly want to migrate INTO our family space. My friends with Asian wives also experienced the same integration feelings.

Don't tell my wife, but I find Japanese women as the most passionate and affectionate, Korean women a close second and Taiwanese/Chinese quite a bit more "reserved". But all are far better in all respects than those "American" women!

Asian women are like fine porcelain art; treat them well and with respect and they will remain a value and beautiful to look at for a very long time.
