"The Philippine government said Thursday it anticipated US help to track a North Korean long-range rocket, part of which is expected to land off the Philippines."
If this happens as projected, then I'd like to call on all of those Filipinos who want to kick all Americans from the Philippines to go fight NOKOR or shut up! I'd like to ask Her Majesty councilor Margot Osmena and his excellency councilor Sisinio Andales to ask all Americans and foreign visitors to the Philippines, including the American Military to go home because all Americans would have made the same video that Jimmy put out; they would have made the same comments that Jimmy did. So, all foreign visitors and Americans in the Philippines should be declared "Persona Non Grata" by the most brilliant Cebu City councilors Andales and Osmena, who should not be re-elected by the voters of Cebu because they are a disgrace to the democracy.

Summed up in two words "Washington said" Reds under the bed" 65 years of "Washington said" and some people are still falling for it. WMDs? No problem "Washington said". The North Vietmanses gunboats fired first! No problems, "Washington said". "The commies are coming" 65 years ago, I'm still waiting.(I had to come to China to find one but they are all old men!)

North Koreans will lauch a satellite.

USA wants to charge Asia countries for GPS service in near future which is currently free.

That is why USA is upset.

But there is no UN agreements on who can lauch a satellite and who cann't.

So there is no UN's business on that issue.

There must be something in the UN charter about allowing armed people to enter another country and kill the civilians.(But only in the name of "Freedom" or "Protecting you Interests")

You are a funny, funny man. "Expected US help?" What, the US will provide the Radar and Sat tracking and the Philippines will stand on top of their shanty and put the hand over their forehead? Sunshine it the thing comes anywhere near the Philippines they will pinch it and sell it for scrap!

I repeat: what N. Korean want to launch is not a 'rocket test'.

North Korean said very clearly, they will launch a satellite.

USA knows it.

China seeks US satellite data on quake

China has asked the United States for satellite images of quake-stricken Sichuan province to help locate victims and identify seriously damaged roads and infrastructure, US and Chinese officials said.

The request, hand-delivered to the State Department by a Chinese embassy official on Thursday, seeks high-resolution imagery of the region surrounding the south-central Chinese city of Chengdu, officials said.

And nice of them to give it. One of the strange things about the world, disasters give a good publicity boost to the worst as well as the best. The earthquake was real, the "Danger" from the communications sat and it's launch is greater because it is from North Korea? The same rocket from "nice" countries would not even get one line in the press in the US or the Philippines. perhaps if we didn't try to divide the world into them and us it would be a better place.(With less jobs in the war industry though.)
We could also look at the “Free half of Tibet movement without the dogma clouding our eyes.

Free half of Tibet!
