Well there goes another reason why I'm so pea pickin' proud to live in Tennessee! I have so much respect for her as an entertainer and even greatly as a fine country girl. She has always been my hero and will always be one of the most talented in the world. I have several fond memories of her when she was on the Porter Wagoner show. She is Tennessee as its best!

One thing about Dolly - she has never forgotten where she came from. She has given so much back to Sevier County.

I'm so glad she became famous, she deserved it. My sons grandmother was raised in the same area as she was, and she said they were very poor, probably alot worse off than some people actually know. You go Dolly !!
A big fan!

I used to be a fan of Dolly's but when her mother died and she chose to go ahead with a pre-scheduled concert 2 days later anyway I lost any admiration for her. I don't see how anyone could get up on stage and sing, dance, and be jolly when their mother had just passed away. I guess her money and fame mean more than family. She will get no more of my money! Thank you.

It sure doesn't take long, does it?

Losing your mother is hard...believe me, I know. But you can't stop the don't know how Dolly mourned...singing could be her way of releasing all of those emotions...(actually, she said it was) Were you there at the concert? NO. She could have done exactly the opposite of "jolly" and done some "moment of silence" or sang some dedication song to remember her mom. You don't know what she did so don't judge.

OMG. How could someone be so sick of someone who does so much good for the world. It is mindboggling some of the stupidity and ungratefullness shown on this post.

The concert Sunday was Unbelievable ....If some of these people with the negitve attitudes had cared about their community and showed up they would have seen a home town girl that made a name for herself and is not afraid to use it for something needed..Keep up the good deeds And their ain't no cyrstal ball..

I think you are a pure butthole. Who could not like someone with a caring heart like she has got? Since you live in Nashville you probably hear her music alot. I hope you do. It might teach you how to love the world you live in and shed that sh**** attitude you've got.
