Obviously not the brightest crayon in the box. At least he tried to make it "legal" with the business name and all. Good job Knox County Police Dept. Thanks for all you do...

Just for the record this was a legit business and the one they arrested is NOT the owner but the owners son that has gotten trapped by the drug.. He used to be a good productive citizen but has let Meth take over his life. Its time for mommy and daddy to cut him loose before he takes their business on a downward spiral like him.

I think it's a little late for that. A large meth lab with a stash of guns found on your business property? I would think that would pretty much close the business.

I wouldn't feel all that safe. He has been arrested for the same thing before and always seems to get away with it. I wonder why?

All of us from his home state of NY have watched in horror as Meth has ruined this family... It is about time law enforcement takes this seriously! Last time the knox police "lost" the evidence..Chris has four young children and their lives are at stake!!

Legit Business?!?!?!? The Domermuth's have a looooong history with legal matters! Why do you think they left NY and started a company in TN? Go to google and put this in "Domermuth" +lien and see what you get. This whole family is a mess, but they keep slipping away. Why has it taken the law this long to take action? Chris has been to court SOOOO many times and always gets off. Who does mommy and daddy know? How much cash is passed under the table? The news should investigate the Domermuths and start questioning Knox police, judges, and elected officials. Itís all public information. They could have a BIG story on their hands!

the trash/dreggs of the country always seem to end up in Tennessee. Could it be that the law down here tends to look the other way under the right' circumstances'?
Now,if the guy had been bringing more than 2 cartons of cigarettes across state lines, Gordon Farr would be chasing his a** all over the state.

FRom the look of it,this family was 'ruined' long befoere anybody ever heard of meth. Come down here and get these crooks and take them back to NY where they belong.

If mom and dad have been saving his butt on other things he got into, maybe they knew about the meth, might want to check into this a little deeper.

I think it's time for a name change for this business: Dummermuth Unfriendly Environmental Services. Kinda catchy, ain't it?

I wonder if Chris realizes or cares what he has done to himself, parents, and his children. Maybe if they can't pay his way out of this one then he might have a lot of time to sit and think about it,and get the help he needs to get off a drug that he has been on for a long time. Rumor has it that he got his ex-wife "hooked" on it. The saddest thing today are what his children think. The older two are old enough to understand, the younger ones I don't know.

It is a wonder that Chris's brother was not there too. Eric has been in drugs as long as Chris.

First of all, the news stations in Knoxville have misinformed the public with the assumption that Christopher Domermuth is a "businessman" or "business owner." To clarify, Christopher is not the owner of Domermuth Environmental Services. In order to own and maintain a profitable business for over 60 years, one must possess a great amount of intelligence, as well as strong business ethics. It is beyond apparent, at this point, that Christopher Domermuth lacks the character that is required to manage such a business. With that being said, let us keep in mind that an entire group, family or business cannot be accurately judged on the basis of a wrongful deed committed by a single individual within the group. I do hope the people of Knoxville are not naive enough to believe that the entire Domermuth family is immoral and undeserving. That would be foolish.
Secondly, while Mr. Domermuth may be guilty of meth manufacturing and usage, he cannot be held responsible for the actions of others who chose to partake in using the drug, including his ex-spouse as mentioned in a previous comment. One does not become "hooked" on a drug due to the lifestyle of his/her spouse. Participating in drug usage is a decision made by the individual, not another.
Instead of harshly judging and assuming problems within this family, let us pray for God to give them strength to overcome such a terrible tragedy. We who post these comments are fortunate enough to continue with our lives just as they were yesterday. The Domermuth family, however, will be bearing this burden for years to come.
