I just moved to Knoxville from NC where I had been with Charter for years.

EVERY exchange I have had with this company has been negative. From ordering (When they were experiencing technical difficulties-please try back) to install (Which was scheduled for Superbowl Sunday from 2-5pm, got a call at 7:30pm that they were behind and it would be Monday and eventually became Tuesday) to not having a DTA box for the Non-Digital TV in another room. I called about the box that the installer didn't have and was told that i could have one shipped to me for shipping and handling costs!!! You can't speak to a Supervisor unless they fill out a Form, are you kidding me??? And then you have to wait up to 24 hours for a return call. Its like the Customer Service Department was designed by a company who specifically DIDN'T want to talk to Customers.

I haven't even gotten a bill yet but I am already exasperated with the company. Are there any other alternatives for Television AND Internet service in Knoxville (South Knoxville/Seymour) I called Knology and they don't service 37920.

Any input is welcome!!!

I hope someone has an answer. Comcast is very difficult to deal with. They are also way too expensive. They think they have no competition.
Everyone I know has the same opinion of them.

Why in the world do they disconnect me every month and have no record of our account on automatic bill pay? So now every month I get disconnected and Comcast wants to charge me a reconnect fee to reinstate my service. I just dont understand how they always go on and on about how they care and one would think they would have a better marketing department and quit mailing me offers to move to Comcast. I already have Comcast. there are many many more examples of their carelessness that I have experienced from the first day I moved to Knoxville. It took over a month of me driving to the main office begging for them to come out and check a little deeper to see finally the problem was the cable was not connected at the pole. I am so amazed that the utility companies here have not jumped on the ISP wagon. I came here from Chattanooga and I had fiber optic epbfi and Comcast was always a last resort there due to their negligence to people and lack of any care or concern. Please someone offer a comparable service to residents in knoxville. I just
