Nice job guys, you left out a paragraph....who is Brummitt and what is the relevance? Just thought I would point that out. I know WBIR is better at proof reading than this.

How sad. I pray for the families of the deceased and I pray for survivors. May God wrapped His loving arms around them and keep them safe.

Ok so how about you two think about the wreck instead of criticizing the writers...DA's. Those cars looked awful..the front bumper was practically sitting in the front seat of the buick.

It's states who Brummitt is.

The driver of the Buick, Ashley Brummitt, 25, of Clinton and passenger James Salyer, 23, also of Clinton, were pronounced dead at the scene. A three-year-old child, Maleigha Henning, Brummitt's daughter and a passenger in a child restraint seat in the Buick, was taken by Lifestar to UT Medical Center. She was later pronounced dead on arrival.

Sigh, Guys you ought to think about when that was written. When the article was first published it didn't have that information. They just added it, I would also like to know who was invovled. And only a DA would make an assumtion like that but what do you expect from someone from harriman. I also feel for the families and happen to know some of the folks involved but when the article was written it only mentioned the 3 year old. So you should know the facts before you stick your foot in your mouth.

Steve has a bit of an attitude, it appears. How were they supposed to know it was changed? Fact, people are dead and that is more important than your ego Steve.

What a horrible accident this must have been. These were people with families; mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren too. Please have a little respect for the loss of their loved ones. My prayers go out to all of the friends families of those involved. Lighten up a bit people, quit being so ugly toward one another over some typo error or whatever. People have died, have some respect. Could have been any one of us or our family. Bless this family with your prayers, not your attitudes.

Who cares about the errors made,I just know my daughter woke me up last night to tell me she thought her cousins had been killed in a car accident. I came on here to make sure it was them and some people have no respect for them. So I ask you all will just pray for the Brummitt family. Ashley was a very nice girl, her daughter was also sweet and smart just to be 3 years old...She didn't get to live out her life...

I know the family of the survivors from the truck. This is a very good family who serve God. Please continue to pray for their condition. And please have a little respect for the families and friends.

I say AMEN, why do people on here have to be so determined to correct or undermine another person's wording or lack of punctuation, etc, this is a devastating time for alot of families, I can not even imagine losing my daughter and grand child. God has been gracious to us, let's have some kindness and pray for those who are suffering horribly at this very moment. if you can't pray or do not believe in it, try to be kind.

We are the family of the surviving Husband and Father...Any help would be appreicated. Lets just set everything straight. Chris was a wonderful Husband and Father, everything he ever did was for the family he has just lost. He served his country
in the Marine Corps as a sargent. Lets not forget to respect the deceased who barely began to live and for the surviving members who still have what is left to live without the two important people in their lives. May God wrap his arms around both sides of the family, Christopher and Ashley's. THey both have mourning to deal with. I pray that God will help us all find peace.

We as a family also feel for the other families
who must sit in wait to find out if their loved ones will survive the horrible wreck. Just know that I am praying for them as well.

Why does the husband not have a job or a place to live? Is he disabled? How was he taking care of his three year old daughter? Where was he and his wife and daughter living if they had no home? Please give us more information.
