I covered this story back in 1997 in Knoxville...I am so happy to see that Peter is doing okay, although sad to know that he is in a wheelchair. He was a true miracle in the midst of such a horrible event. Thank you for getting back in touch with him and his family. I have always wondered what happened to the boy who survived the worst story I ever had to report - JFH

My prayers still go out to Peter. May God bless him and give him a peace to accept the fate that was given him in life and a trust in God to accept that it was God's will, for a reason unknown to us.

I was very happy to see an update on Peter, although he nor us  will never really come to know the reason he got to survive is not questionable there is always going to be different reasons and answers.  Its the way he will live his life that will hold to others I hope Peter will let us know how he lives his life not how he survived. GOD BLESS YOU PETER

I pray that Peter, in the circle of love, continues to heal, emotionally, physically and spiritually. His survival, and actual thriving, is a testament to love.
