ROFLMAO Nope...not me.It takes too much time being regular old Slider. Why would I double up or triple "aliases" when Slider is a handful already? It would seem like a whole lot of trouble switching from phone to phone and three different laptops to change "Aliases" and locations, asking and answering my own questions and such.Aint worth the effort for all this. Maryville Poster could be you for all I know. Mrs Slider already has me censored. She says I'm embarrassing her at work and my mother in law grumbles about it. So it's winding down I reckon.

All that bullshit in one place and it didn't burst into flames of hell fire? God must have a really special place for those motherf*&%$! It sounds too good to be true and it sure IS a few years too late. Didn't they just spend all of our tax money on a school or two?

Thursty, that pisses them off when "somebody" floats by on the pontoon with their bare ass and a 'howdy' finger in the air. Timing is everything...reactions are priceless.

so they are going to attract a mega business to come here. Heard a story that they want an auto company like VW ... Well, engineers and high paying employees that are needed for management in these mega-companies have family demands ... Like education ... Things to do, like go out to eat at nice places. Go for a drink after work ... etc ... NONE of which Jefferson County offers. The quality of life in Jefferson county, while cute and quaint for farm folks, isn't in any way shape or form anywhere near what Chattanooga offered for a life-style. Also, to get VW the engineers looked at future tools like high-speed internet, which Jefferson county doesn't have ( sure it's got a pocket of HS internet here and there) But Chattanooga has one of the highest speed internet systems IN THE COUNTRY! a 1gig system. Why would this industrial park get placed near 417? The best place is between 407 and 412, the same place a new intersection needs to go for the rail terminal ( container yard) Which just so happens to be where the industrial park needs to go. Auto parts come in by rail, cars go out by rail ! Thing Jeff-co board of whatever-it-is-you-do before you do this at 417. Unless it's going there because board members own land near there.....

as far as greenbelt or farm-exemptions go, the best change would be a tax-diversion. where land that is being farmed is taxed as farm land. But most of this large land gets sold at auction and divided into small 5 acre plots. If that happens then the property goes from a large farm-able piece to residential. At this point the original owner should pay a fine for taking the property out of farm land ( Sort of a conversion fee to make it go from Farm->residential That way the county can collect on the taxes that were avoided. Holding land this way is like putting money in the bank, with out paying taxes on it. It's an easy fix.

Its kind of funny how just a few weeks ago, Palmieri was crying and trying to say our county was bankrupt and we couldn't afford to pay for decent schools for our children, and now all of a sudden we have millions and millions of dollars to gamble on a megasite. Typical politics at its finest! I think its good that the county is finally taking some initiative, but Its kind of late in the game. There are already three megasites in Tennessee. Two of them have been totally vacant for years now. We need something like the megasite in this county, but they should have done this about 5 years ago. The only thing now is, they need to decide whether they want Dandridge to be a factory town or a tourist town. They can't be both and they just spent about 70 grand pursuing the later.
