Its a shame when people vote based on political affiliation and not the actual plans they have for the state.

Now we will have Psychiatrists as the new watchers and after seeing how these vets are being sent to the mental wards for speaking against 9/11 or other things and when the outcome of the mental health gang will be more of these drugs I don't have much faith in this outcome.
I would suggest buying stock in Big Pharma cause someones going to get mighty rich on this and it might as well be you.

I'm still trying to make sense out of this relationship we have with Communist China because to me they are a country I still hear talk of having the chance of missels flying either way.Basicaly a potential enemy, perhaps a chance of war.
And yet we borrow money from these people,we help build up their country by helping move our jobs there. We now invite them to come one come all to the US.Please buy our ports our land our towns and yes please buy up our domestic oil and gas supplies. And of course there is the trade deficit.
It would be a good idea to fix that.
The way we deal with Al Qaeda looks the same.We help them here we help them there then we fight them in all those places.
And y'all want to trust these folks with our guns?

Folks, this is the Attitude and Mindset that's causing the Republican Party to continue destroying itself. They live in their own little World of denial, while trying to control everything and everybody around them. That's called a "Oligarchy"!

This Guy is as "wishy-washy" as they come! It was only last Nov., right after the election, that he was encouraging the GOP to become more Moderate and cooperative, and less Radical.

It could be an ax a hammer a pipe a gun.
Where is the outrage on this? There is nothing in the MSM on this.I suppose if there were Big Pharma would pull the ads and how well would that go over.
What happened after 9/11 we got the Patriot Act,Spying of Americans, molestation at the airports(and I'm Sure in many other places to come). We have The NDAA,we have on and on and on.
THe Patiot Act was written before 9/11 the NDAA would not see the light of day. We know how that went.
I do not believe any thing they say about anything I just watch how it all unfolds and it's there in the outcome where you find your answer.
If you've read anything about what drugs were found in their systems , during the autopsy, then post who had what drugs in their systems because I haven't read anything that has told that information. Therefore, how do you know they were taking any kind of drugs?

Ted Cruz had some advice for House Republicans on Saturday: "Stop reading the New York Times."

Not bad advice. Everyone else has stopped reading it.

NOW-The guns. Is very different. When they talk of shutting down the sale of guns from one person to another or gun shows, they are fixing to take them away. When they talk about shutting down the ability for me to hand down my guns to my sons and daughters, they are fixing to take them away. Once they start talking about having to have a permit to own any gun, they are fixing to take them away. The scare of 2000 was small compared to this. I know you cannot see it because they are using you. Through you and others like you, they are fixing to take them away. Look at this way, For a socialist gov. to work ECONOMICALLY(at least for a while) some 30 million people will have to die. The system cannot support these unproductive people. These will be the ones that cannot work or will not work, criminals plus the people (conservatives) who will die with a gun in their hands when they take them away. Hey, this leaves a cleaner (Liberal) world for you. Hope you can make it work. It has never been done in history of the world.
No I am not going off the deep end. I get a little melancholily every now and then. The time line for the above, I do not know. They may work things out but I do know that each time this comes up, they add more and more regs to it. Now couple that together with a super Dem/Lib majority in both houses and you have the potential. Put in place military leaders that are dem/libs and you have the potential. The silent majority could stop this madness if they would protest very loudly like you dem/libs do. You are only 25% of the population. Instead they sit back, wait for the inevitable to happen.
No one will be taking our guns away.
It's just the Republicans going back to their playbook and using 1 of the 3G's like they always do.

What kind of a Society have we become that the "Gun Owners Rights" advocates would not show this Grieving Father some Compassion, Respect, and Understanding of his Views and why he would naturally feel the way he does. Whether you agree with him or not, to "heckle" this Man, is one of the most dispicable and repulsive things I have ever heard of!
When you "LOVE" your Guns more than you can sympathize with a Fellow Human Being in a time of one of the most devastating tragedies they will ever suffer in their entire Lives, and understand why he feels the way he does...YOU have a REAL problem and so does our Society!

Good News! Ring Dings, Yodels, Devil Dogs, Yankee Doodles, Sunny Doodles and Drake’s Coffee Cake may be back soon!

After a prolonged strike with the union, Hostess - the maker of Twinkies among other treats - went bankrupt.

Well, a Tennessee Company is bidding on it!

Leaders with bankrupt Hostess Brands announced Monday that Collegedale's McKee Foods Corporation has been selected as the stalking horse bidder for its Drake’s snack cake brand, as well as certain equipment.

A stalking horse bidder is selected by a bankrupt company. It allows the bankrupt company to avoid low bids on assets.

Emotional vs Common Sense views.

A Sunday news program, I believe ABC Face the Nation, had two guests that gave their personal take on the subject fueled by the terrible shooting in Sandy Hook, Conn.

First was Sen. Feinstein and the other was NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly. The senator was passionate about her very personal agenda of a ban on assault type weapons and high capacity clips. The NYPD police commissioner stated that those types of weapons accounted for less than two percent of the shootings in his city. He stated the great majority of their problems were handguns which most were illegal.

I would agree that the police commissioner spoke with facts and data, not personal emotions. The senator's desire would have little effect on the number of shootings in New York City.

“For us in New York City, and I believe in most urban centers throughout America, the problem really is concealable handguns,” Kelly said. "But the city’s real enemy is illegal handguns."

Handguns account for nearly all murders by firearm in New York City and state, data show. An analysis by the NYPD determined that assault weapons were used in just three of the 1,400 instances of gun play in the city last year.

First I refuse to call it "gun control," a more accurate term would be "citizen-disarmament, " remember that dialog controls the conversation. Citizen-disarmament has nothing to do with public safety but government power and growth.

We all should know that pro-citizen-disarmament individuals are not willing to discuss real issues using facts and statistics, especially with something like police and FBI records. Most of the time these idiots can't even get their terminology correct when talking about guns, which if it was so important to them you'd think they would at least have an intern Google a few things.

It is the pro-citizen-disarmament's tactic to "emotionalize" arguments as its their only hope. The fact that NY city has a handgun ban and yet an illegal object is still being used in illegal activity should not be shocking to anyone with a brain.

Citizen-disarmament will do nothing to curb illegal gun use, only infringe on the rights of us who choose not to break the law. Those who lawfully enjoy using them for any reason, the 2nd amendment did not specify that "we the people" justify our ownership.

If any of this wasn't 100 percent true every biased media outlet across the country would be spouting statistics of how the 94'-04' citizen-disarmament worked.

With all the gun ban hysteria being peddled in the news media today, here is a short primer to those who give their opinion without the general knowledge of the very weapons they are proposing to ban.

First of all, modern semi- automatic rifles and pistols fire one round per one pull of the trigger, they are not machine guns which will fire until the ammunition is exhausted or the trigger is released.

Second, their ammunition is fed from a “magazine” and not a “clip,” the only common rifle or pistol in America today that takes a clip is the .30 cal M1 Garand which uses an eight round en bloc clip which is ejected from the rifle when the last round is fired.

It is also a semi-automatic rifle that was used by the United States military in WWII.

Thirdly, the vast majority of the rifles that are owned by every day Americans are not “assault rifles” but are better known as “Modern Sporting rifles” which are again, only semi-automatic.
The term “assault rifle” is an English translation of the German word “Sturmgewehr” or storm rifle which described a STG-44 rifle used by the Wehrmacht in the last days of WWII.

It was a fully automatic selective fire rifle similar to an actual AK-47 not the semi-automatic AKM which are commonly owned in the United States today.

All “assault rifles” are classed as a machine gun and are heavily regulated and have been since the middle thirties.

So in closing,“Modern Sporting rifles,” while they do resemble military weapons in appearance, are not weapons of war but instead are no different than other “civilian” semi-automatics.
