Hey guys have you heard about the new Restaurant coming to Knoxville?

A North Carolina-based fast-food chain called Cook Out is going into the old Guthrie's building, on The Strip.

@ Blah
I've never heard such a terrible statement before.
To me, the best kind of food is "fatty greasy crap"

This place is amazing. Great prices, FANTASTIC food. Their burgers are comparable with Five Guys and they have delicious milkshakes. I have been waiting for this moment since I moved from Carolina.

The hours are great and they will quickly become one of the most popular places on the strip, without a doubt.

Usually they come in a double drive-thru style setup because of how busy they become all day and night.

Go with the Cookout Tray. You wont be dissapointed.

The food is horrible. Why waste your time and money on that garbage. Whoever said it's as good as five guys needs to quit the drugs. Cook out Is just garbage food.

cookout just opened here in JC, Tn. Wanted to read reviews first. Who ever said % Guys is better, you apparently like crappy 50% lean hamburger, I ate at 5 guys ONCE..... The burger was made with cheap hamburger meat that has more FAT than meat. If a burger patty is crispy on the outside like 5 guys brgers, then it has more fat than meat. 5 Guys does have the best home made fries I've eaten. If Cookout is like % Guys burgers, then I won't be eating there. A restaurant burger shoul NEVER be more than 20% fat ground beef PERIOD!!!!!

there has been a cookout in Johnson City for a year now.
I really love Cookout though. Their prices are the best of any fast food chain and the milkshakes are great
