Well said. There are too many Americans who will never know the price that has been paid for our freedom. They should visit the facility and see and thank the vets of this Nation!
All gave some, some gave all!

These clinics will be nice. A real problem is that all but the most basic medical tests and treatments require the veteran to travel to Nashville or to Johnson City. To ride the DAV van for a trip a vetran must be at the Knoxville clinic by 4 am and will not return until 5 or 6 in the afternoon. This is difficult for the older veterans in frail health. It requires a younger working veteran to miss a full day of work.
The VA should issue Fee Basis Payment for approved disability to be treated locally.
Thanks.

We need and must insist on being granted our RIGHT to Home Town Medical care at 100% government expense. No more charging our Veterans for the treatment of their Service-Connected Disabilities and Conditions. This legal liability of the United States is currently being charged to America's Veterans through their health insurance.

Whenever a VA doctor injures or murders a Veteran the Veteran or their survivors are run through the mill of denials and cover-ups and seldom if ever receive a just or fair settlement from the VA. The family find themsevles having to take on the entire Federal Government which is not right when one realizes that the VA uses interns and residents and NOT duly qualified doctors what treating a Veteran.

America's Honorably Discharged Veterans are the ONLY American citizens who are segregated into their own private health care system where they are abused as test subjects for inhumane human experiments, for collage students to use as living practice dummies, and as training aids for college professors to demonstrate their surgical and medical techniques.

Segregation for the sole purpose of training medical students is wrong. Forcing our Veterans to suffer such tortured in the name of medical science is a crime against humanity.

Ya'll are missing the point. Our Veterans must have their RIGHT to choose their own medical providers within their own home communities. Every other citizen has this RIGHT.

Only Americas Veterans are treated as second class citizens forced into a GOVERNMENT run institutions that operate above the laws and without any accountability.

Our Veterans have earned the RIGHT to have a choice. No more charging them for less than adequate health care. No more torture treatments in the name of medical science. No more abuse of our Veterans at the hands of the United States Government.
